A Sure Thing

People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit. Depend on God and keep at it because in the LORD God you have a sure thing. —Isaiah 26:3-4 (MSG)

As we continually cast all our cares on the Lord, and keep our minds set on Him, He will keep us in perfect peace. When you start to worry or have anxious thoughts, pass them on to God and reset your mind upon Him. Turn your worries into prayers and praise Him that He is with you to help you overcome. He has already given us the victory. Psalm 55:22 (NLT) says: Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. That is a sure thing!

“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You…” (Isaiah 26:3 AMP)
