Stay with God
The one thing I ask of the LORD— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. —Psalm 27:4 (NLT) That’s the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world, the perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic. —Psalm 27:5 (MSG)
A single day in His courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. (Psalm 84:10) May we delight ourselves in His perfect peace and flawless love. My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” (Psalm 27:8 NLT) I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God. (Psalm 27:13-14 MSG)
