Set Free
For He looked down from His holy height; from heaven the LORD looked upon the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free those who were doomed to death, —Psalm 102:19-20 (NASB)
“The LORD lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted!” (2 Samuel 22:47 NLT) God’s desire is to set us free; Free from sin, death and the grave, free from the lies of the enemy, free from worry and anxiety. In Isaiah 32:18, He says, “My people will live free from worry in secure, quiet homes of peace.”
Our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. (See Titus 2:13-14 NLT) …you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13 NLT) Live free. Amen.
