Joy & Peace

For you will go out with joy and be led in peace; the mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. —Isaiah 55:12 (NASB)

The joy of the LORD is your strength, enabling you to press on. Go out with joy and be led in peace. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17) If you are a believer, God’s kingdom realm is within you. 

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, (See Isaiah 61:10 NASB). Yahweh will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT) We do not have to be shaken by world events, because Isaiah 54:10 (NASB) tells us, His favor will not be removed from us, nor will His covenant of peace be shaken. Let God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand, guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (SeePhilippians 4:7 NLT)

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
