Remain Confident

As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed, yet from my flesh I shall see God;” —Job 19:25-26 (NASB1995)

In the midst of his loss, affliction and pain, Job remained confident that his Redeemer was alive and that one day, he would see Him. Because of the joy awaiting Him, Jesus endured the cross, disregarded its shame and is now seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. In the midst of our hardships and suffering, may we remain confident that our Redeemer lives and that we will, one day see Him face to face. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NASB1995)

“Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and my Advocate [who vouches and testifies for me] is on high..” —Job 16:19 (AMP)
