“Peace be with You”

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.
John 20:19 (NLT)

We are not to fear man, instead, we are to fear the LORD our God, and Him alone. Deuteronomy 10:20 (AMP) says: You shall fear [and worship] the LORD your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect]. For the LORD your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below. (Joshua 2:11b NLT) Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). He gave us His peace and He will never take it away. In John 14:27, Jesus says His peace is a gift. Like any gift that is given, it must also be received. Therefore, receive His peace today and don't let the enemy steal it away from you. May the everlasting peace of God rule in your heart and in your mind, at all times.

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”John 14:27 (TPT)
