A Brand-New Life

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we've been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now!
1 Peter 1:3-4 (The Message)

In Jesus Christ, we are new creations. We can let go of our old ways and fully experience a brand-new life. God has given us everything to live for, a glorious future in heaven and a full life here on earth. He has given us a life of purpose and passion. We can walk in freedom and forgiveness, our hearts overflowing with joy and peace. Our brand-new life is established on the eternal foundation of God's unfailing love. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
