Plunge into the Promises
There was no hope that Abraham would have children. But Abraham believed God and continued hoping, and so he became the father of many nations. As God told him, "Your descendants also will be too many to count."
Romans 4:18 (NCV)
Abraham didn't focus on his own impotence and say, "It's hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child." Nor did he survey Sarah's decades of infertility and give up. He didn't tiptoe around God's promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said (Romans 4:19-20, The Message).
Abraham never doubted and he never stopped believing. Let us be like our father Abraham and have a faith that doesn't fizzle. Plunge into the promises that God has given to you by taking the action you need to take and believing Him for the rest. The things that are impossible with man are possible with God.
