My Rock and My Savior

My soul waits calmly for God alone.
My salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my savior—my stronghold.
I cannot be severely shaken.

And who is the Rock except our God? (Psalm 18:31) Let us calmly wait for God alone. Everything we need comes from Him. He is our rock of refuge. We can always go to Him. The LORD is our righteous Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Put your hope in Him every minute of the day. In God, we are secure and shall not be greatly moved. The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! (Psalm 18:46) Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation! (Psalm 95:1)

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
