The God of Our Strength
Vindicate me, O God,
and plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man! For You are the God of my strength;
Why do You cast me off?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? —Psalm 43:1-2 (NKJV)
The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people (Psalm 68:35). We must rely on the STRENGTH of our Lord. Our flesh may fail, but God is the strength of our hearts (Psalm 73:26). If you think God has tossed you aside or walked out on you, that is a lie from the enemy. “With us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles” (2 Chronicles 32:8). Go in the strength of the LORD, our mighty God. His strength empowers us to overcome difficulties and live victorious lives.
