Stay on the Proper Path

The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. —Psalm 25:8 (NLT)

Put your hope in the LORD. Travel steadily along His path (Psalm 37:34). Even though we encounter obstacles, His way is a path of peace and it leads to everlasting life. Ignore the distractions and detours which will try to take you off the proper path. Proverbs 15:21 says, a sensible person stays on the right path. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take (Proverbs 3:6).

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
