New Life!

…God lives forever and is holy. He is high and lifted up. He says, “I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are sad and humble. I give new life to those who are humble and to those whose hearts are broken.” —Isaiah 57:15 (NCV)

Our God is exalted on high and He is also a God who dwells with His people. Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1 NIV). You are never out of His reach. He gives new life to those who humble themselves under His mighty hand. He restores crushed spirits and revives repentant hearts. “I, even I, am He who comforts you…”  Isaiah 51:12 (NKJV)

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
