Have a Heart

And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God], —Ezekiel 11:19 (AMP)

It’s unnatural for children of God to have a hard heart because our heavenly Father is love (1 John 4:16). As members of God’s family, we are to have soft, healthy hearts, that are sensitive and responsive to the touch of God. Instead of cold, hard hearts infested with jealousy, envy and bitterness, our hearts of flesh are to be full of love, compassion and empathy, more concerned about the needs of those around us than your own. Have a tender heart that loves God and loves people. Amen!

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you. Prepare Your Heart

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble.
