Persist in Prayer
God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?”—Luke 18:7-8 (NCV)
In Luke 18:1-6, Jesus told the disciples a parable about an unjust judge, to make the point that at all times we ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. God brought us through our past, He is in our present and He knows our future, so He always orchestrates events with such perfect timing. (Sometimes not as speedily as we would like.) I encourage you to keep praying! Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16 NLT).
