Choose Well
“If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” —Genesis 4:7 (NIV)
Sin crouches at our door, ready to pounce. We don’t have to go looking for it. However, the temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist, but with the temptation He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13). We always have a choice. Choose well.
When you make the wrong choice, don't let the enemy condemn you and cause you to run away from God. The love of our heavenly Father never fails. If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
