The Secret

This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people. For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. —Colossians 1:26-27 (NLT)

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, He lives in us. We have the fullness of His glory residing in us. The same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is in us (Ephesians 1:19-20) and surely, it can raise us up out of the challenging circumstances we face. This power enables us to triumph over the troubles of this world. This exceedingly great power helps us to stand strong when the storms of life hit. Because Christ lives in us, we are able to walk in the wisdom, peace and perfect love of God. As we let go and let God, we will be victorious in all He has called us to do.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
