Our Strength & Shield

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. —Psalm 28:7 (NLT)

The LORD gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. (Isaiah 40:29). He is a shield to all who trust in Him (Psalm 18:30). He is our helper. Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB) Let seeking the LORD and following after Him be a lifelong pursuit. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NKJV)

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
