Stay with God!
The one thing I ask of the LORD— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. —Psalm 27:4-5 (NLT)
Our heavenly Father is not a dead beat dad. He is alive. He is willing and He is able to handle all of your concerns. He is the ultimate source of all we need, want and desire. While others may cast you aside, the LORD adopts you as His child. Psalm 27:10 (MSG) says, “My father and mother walked out and left me, but God took me in.” Don’t despair when people mistreat you. Abide in peace, because we have God’s protection, His provision and most important of all, His Presence. Circumstances may not always be perfect, but our heavenly Father is, and He has a good plan for your life, to give you a future and a hope.
I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God. —Psalm 27:13-14 (MSG)
