Be Strong!

Image
“ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. ” — Joshua 1:9 NASB Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, “ I am strong! ” (Joel 3:10 AMP) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 AMP) For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall. (Psalm 18:28-29 NKJV) Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in the Lord our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory!  — Psalm 20:7 (AMP)

My Helper

Image
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. — Psalm 54:4 (NASB) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. (Psalm 18:6 NASB) When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. (Psalm 34:17 AMP) Amen! & Hallelujah! ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

Look to the LORD

Image
As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. — Micah 7:7 (NLT) I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT) Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:1-4 NLT)

Seek the LORD

Image
‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD … — Jeremiah 29:13-14a (NASB) Diligently seek the LORD, and His will on a daily, moment by moment basis. Require Him as a vital necessity. You will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. May we have eyes that see clearly, listening ears, and understand with our hearts, all that God speaks to us. The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. — Psalm 19:1-2 (NASB)

The LORD is Good

Image
The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. — Nahum 1:7 (NLT) Give thanks to our Eternal Lord; He is always good. He never ceases to be loving and kind. (Psalm 118:29 VOICE) God is not out to get you. Second Chronicles 16:9 (NLT) says: “The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! — Psalm 116:5 (NLT)

The Same Love

Image
For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! — Ephesians 1:5-6  (TPT) Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. (Ephesians 1:4 MSG) May God be the focus of our love just as we are the focus of His amazing love, that He freely lavishes upon us. ...‘ Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you. ’ — Matthew 22:37 (TPT)

A Joyful Heart

Image
A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul. But the one whose heart is crushed struggles with sickness and depression. — Proverbs 17:22 (TPT) A joyful heart is a heart that has learned to rely on and trust in the Most High God, His Word, His wisdom, and His ways. Instead of carrying around the burdens of this world, cast your cares on the LORD and experience the fullness of joy we have in His Presence. Do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is our strength! (Nehemiah 8:10) A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired. — Proverbs 17:22 (MSG)

FOCUS

Image
So we do not set our sights on the things we can see with our eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, we focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (VOICE) Don’t look at the things which we can see with our natural eyes, for the things which are visible are temporary. Instead let us focus our attention on the things which are invisible, for they are everlasting and imperishable. Fix your eyes on our great God. May we have eyes to see His amazing love and great grace. “ Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory. ” — Isaiah 6:3 (NASB)

High & Holy

Image
For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” — Isaiah 57:15 (NASB) Our living God, Who is exalted above all, dwells on a high and holy place. However, He also lives with those of a humble and repentant heart. He restores the crushed spirit and revives the heart of the contrite. And what does the LORD require of us? To do what is right, to diligently practice kindness, and to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8) “ … I live in the high and holy place, yet I am with the low, the weak, and the humble. I renew their vitality and revive their strength. ” — Isaiah 57:15b (VOICE)

You Can Count on the LORD

Image
When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, You will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you, — Isaiah 43:2 (TPT) Just as the LORD was with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in the midst of the fiery he furnace, He is with you. The fire had no effect on the bodies of these men nor was the hair of their head singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had the smell of fire even come upon them. (Daniel 3:23-27) Just as God was with the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years, He is with you. He provided bread from Heaven and water out of a rock. God does not change. He is still Jehovah Jireh, our provider. He led them into the Promise Land, and He leads and guides us today by His Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

An Everlasting Love

Image
The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NASB) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) He pursued us, and at the appointed time, He revealed Himself to us. He lifted us up out of the pit and set our feet on a firm foundation. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39) Amen. I am filled with joy and my soul vibrates with exuberant hope, because of the Eternal my God; For He has dressed me with the garment of salvation, wrapped me with the robe of righteousness. It’s as though I’m dressed for my wedding day, in the very best: a bridegroom’s garland and a bride’s jewels. — Isaiah 61:10 (VOICE)

Wait in Hope

Image
Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. — Psalm 42:5b AMP Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (Psalm 27:14 TPT) For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him, for my hope is from Him. (Psalm 62:5 AMP) …I will wait and hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more. (Psalm 71:14 AMP)

Be Fruitful

Image
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! — Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) As we abide in Christ and yield to His Spirit within us, He produces the fruit in our lives. We do not have to attempt to manufacture fruit. Our part is to surrender all and submit to the work of His Spirit in us. Amen! If you are lacking in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness or self-control, draw closer to our heavenly Father. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. — Philippians 1:6 (NASB)

Be Content

Image
And we must not embrace their ways by complaining—grumbling with discontent … — 1 Corinthians 10:10 (TPT) Don’t whine, complain and grumble. Instead be content and trust God. Seek His wisdom and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit in all situations. Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances. (Philippians 4:11 AMP) Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], — Philippians 2:14 (AMP)

My Strength & Song

Image
“See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” — Isaiah 12:2 (NLT) My heart will not be afraid even if an army rises to attack. I know that you are there for me, so I will not be shaken. (Psalm 27:3 TPT) Be confident that the LORD is with you and He is your strength. In Him we live and move and exist. Continue to sing your song of triumph. Shout His praises! The battle belongs to the LORD and He has already given you victory. The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. — Psalm 28:7 (NLT)

God is Love

Image
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. — 1 John 4:7-8 (NLT) Lust seeks self-gratification. Love is other-focused, not self-centered. Jesus was beaten, shed His blood, gave His life and was resurrected, to save us and reconcile us back to the Father. He set us free from sin and made it possible for us to live an abundant life on earth and an eternal life in His Presence. As we decrease and let Jesus occupy every crevice of our heart, His love will shine brighter and brighter through each one of us and we, as children of God, can illuminate the world.  He must increase, but I must decrease. — John 3:30 (NASB)

Love Covers

Image
Hatred keeps old quarrels alive, but love draws a veil over every insult and finds a way to make sin disappear. — Proverbs 10:12  (TPT) In God’s great love for us, He removes our transgressions from us, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). May we love love others, the way our heavenly Father loves us. Those who forgive faults foster love, but those who repeatedly recall them ruin relationships. (Proverbs 17:9 VOICE) Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. (1 Peter 4:8 AMP) Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught… — Proverbs 3:3a (TPT)

Always Good!

Image
For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation! — Psalm 100:5 (TPT) The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. (Psalm 145:9 NLT) The arms of the Lord are open and He says: "COME!" He is always ready to receive you. Make this your one purpose: to revere Him and serve Him faithfully with complete devotion because He has done great things for you. (1 Samuel 12:24 VOICE)

Enter His Gates

Image
You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name! — Psalm 100:4 (TPT) Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! (Psalm 103:1-5 NLT) Praise the name of the LORD, now and forevermore!

Like a Mirror

Image
We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. — 2 Corinthians 3:18 (TPT) If you focus on yourself, you’ll only see the imperfections, the scars, the darkness. But if you forget about yourself and focus on the beauty of His radiance, then you will shine with His light. Don’t make the mistake of living a life focused on yourself. Forget yourself. Turn to Him. Dwell in the beauty of His Presence… and your life will become a reflection of His… (shared from The Book of Mysteries , Day 169) Exodus 34:29 (AMP) says, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai the skin of his face was shining [with a unique radiance] because he had been speaking with God. As we spend time with the LORD, we become more like ...

Called Out

Image
And his fullness fills you, even though you were once like corpses, dead in your sins and offenses. But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! — Ephesians 2:1, 4-5 (TPT) Because of God's great mercy, grace and compassion, He called us out of darkness, and into His marvelous light, and into a glorious life in Christ. You are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it! (1 Peter 2:9-10 TPT)

He will Take Care of You

Image
Jesus taught his disciples, saying, “Listen to me. Never let anxiety enter your hearts. Never worry about any of your needs, such as food or clothing. For your life is infinitely more than just food or the clothing you wear.” — Luke 12:22-23 (TPT) I repeat it: “Don’t let worry enter your life. Live above the anxious cares about your personal needs. People everywhere seem to worry about making a living, but your heavenly Father knows your every need and will take care of you. Each and every day he will supply your needs as you seek his kingdom passionately, above all else.” (Luke 12:29-31 TPT) The fiery darts of the enemy are meant to distract you. Keep seeking the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

Feast on His Faithfulness

Image
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, feasting on his faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (TPT) The LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100:5) Seek and deeply long for the Lord and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. (Psalm 105:4 AMP)

Constantly Cherished

Image
Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. — Psalm 139:17-18 (TPT) No matter what you have been through today, God is still with you. He will protect, guide and comfort you. He gives us strength and is our strong foundation. He sustains us in the good times and the bad.

Endure All Things

Image
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. — James 1:2-4 (TPT) On difficult days, with demands coming from every direction, remember: you can do all things [which He has called you to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers you [to fulfill His purpose… (Philippians 4:13a AMP) He infuses you with inner strength and confident peace, to conquer every difficulty.

He is There

Image
Where could I go from your Spirit? Where could I run and hide from your face? If I go up to heaven, you’re there! If I go down to the realm of the dead, you’re there too! If I fly with wings into the shining dawn, you’re there! If I fly into the radiant sunset, you’re there waiting! Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. — Psalm 139:7-10 (TPT) Psalm 139:3 (NASB) says the LORD scrutinizes our path. No matter where you are today, God knows. Even if you have strayed off the path He has for you, the LORD knows exactly where you are. And He will lead you back to His glorious, everlasting ways— the path that brings you back to Him (Psalm 139:24b TPT).

Be Alert

Image
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. — 1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be alert at all times. In Revelation 12:17, the devil declared war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. Our enemy does not take breaks and he doesn't go on vacation. He continually prowls around, seeking someone to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. (1 Peter 5:9 TPT)

BELIEVE

Image
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) In order to please God we MUST the Word says, believe that God exists AND that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Let us (Believers) love the LORD, with all our hearts, minds and souls and earnestly and diligently seek Him, at all times (not just on Sunday morning or when we are in trouble). “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. ” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT) “ However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? ” — Luke 18:8b (NASB)

Successful Lives

Image
Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. — Proverbs 1:3 (NLT) Having a disciplined life goes along with living a successful life. Exercising discipline helps us to stay focused. Let us be disciplined to read and meditate on the Word of God, day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything that is written in it. Then we will make our way prosperous, and then we will be successful. Do not deviate from the Word, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. (see Joshua 1:7-8) Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. ( Psalm 119:18 NLT ) Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear.   ( Psalm 119:105  TPT)
