Manna for Your Morning

“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, — Isaiah 43:15-16 (NASB1995) Just as He made a way for the Israelites through the wilderness and through the waters, Yahweh still makes a way for His people today. Whatever you are going through today, know that He will show you the way to go. “Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. “Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.” — Psalms 50:14-15 (NASB1995) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing. When you cast your cares and concerns on the LORD, let go of them and leave them there with Him, the One who is able to handle them. Nothing is too difficult for our great and mighty GOD. I called on Your name, O Yahweh, out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, “Do not hide Your ear from my prayer for relief, from my cry for help.” You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!” — Lamentations 3:55-57 (LSB) Our heavenly Father hears His children when they call  upon Him for help and He is faithful to deliver us from all our troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NKJV) says: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. “For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love.” (Lamentations 3:31-32 NLT) Psalms 97:10 (NKJV) says, He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalms 9:10 (LSB)

It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.” (Lamentations 3:21 NASB1995) Keep your hope and your confidence in Yahweh because His faithful love never ends. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:6-8 LSB) He has been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat… (See Isaiah 25:4 NKJV). If you have grown weary draw your strength from Yahweh. If you are in the midst of a storm, take refuge in Him. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 18:30 LSB) How blessed are ALL who take refuge in Him! (See Psalms 2:12 LSB)

Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. — James 4:13-14 (NLT) What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” Otherwise you are boasting about your own pretentious plans, and all such boasting is evil. (Ecclesiastes 7:20 NLT) “But I did find this: God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. (Acts 17:30 NLT) Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. (Acts 3:19 NLT)  We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight.
