Our First Love

Image
“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.” — Revelation 2:2-4 (NKJV) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! Never abandon your first love. No one has the capacity to love you like our Heavenly Father. Every second of life we breathe on this earth we owe to Yahweh, our Creator. May we truly and deeply love Him because He first loved us. (See 1 John 4:19)

Don't Doubt

Image
I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. — Psalms 94:18-19 (NLT) “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?” When it comes to our Heavenly Father and His Son, King Yeshua, have no doubt. The one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6) Stand firm in the faith and be strong. The Lord is your support. When others fail you, He still stands with you and gives you strength. Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in King Yeshua. (See John 14:1) Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Come & Listen

Image
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! The LORD says, “Don’t harden your hearts as Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness.” — Psalms 95:6-8 (NLT) Come to Yahweh, our Maker. Come with a soft, humble heart and listen to His voice. We are the flock under His care, under the care of the good Shepherd. He knows the plans He has for us. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) He knows exactly what we need and when we need it. He is a faithful, faithful Father, and He knows what you need before you ask Him. (See Matthew 6:8) “…what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will...

Place First Things First

Image
“Great sorrow awaits you religious scholars and Pharisees—frauds and pretenders! For you are obsessed with peripheral issues, like insisting on paying meticulous tithes on the smallest herbs that grow in your gardens. These matters are fine, yet you ignore the most important duties of all: to walk in the love of God, to display mercy to others, and to live with integrity. Readjust your values and place first things first.” — Matthew 23:23 (TPT) Keep first things first. Genuine followers of Christ will continually walk closely with God, in His love and compassion for humanity. May we cultivate faithfulness, humility, generosity, honesty, justice, and love. He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does Yahweh require of you but to do justice, to love lovingkindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 LSB)

The Greatest Commandment

Image
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” — Matthew 22:37-39 (NLT) Let us make a dedicated decision to love the LORD our God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength. And to make Him our refuge and delight ourselves in Him, instead of the temporary things of this world. He is the only One who can satisfy a hungry and thirsty soul. Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. (1 Peter 4:8 NKJV)

Abide in Him

Image
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:4-5 (NKJV) In John 15:7-8 (NASB1995), Yeshua said: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” May His Words abide in us. Yeshua said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. (See John 8:31) As disciples of Yeshua, may we continually abide in Him and in His love. (See John 15:9) For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (See Philippians 4:13 NKJV)

Imitate GOD

Image
“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.” — Romans 12:2 (TPT) Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  (1 John 2:15 AMP) Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; (Ephesians 5:1 AMP) Our heavenly Father is loving, patient, kind, compassionate and generous. May we be like Him.

Living & Powerful

Image
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” — Matthew 16:19 (NKJV)   Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (Matthew 16:19) May we declare God's Word over earthly situations. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV) Speak words of life, God's Word. Forever, His word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable]. (See Psalms 119:89 AMP)

Eyes on Yeshua

Image
Answering, Peter said to Him, “Master, if it’s You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to go to Yeshua. But seeing the wind, he became terrified. And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Master, save me!” — Matthew 14:28-30 (TLV) When the storm rages around you, keep your eyes on King Yeshua. He is our life preserver. He saves. Therefore, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also get rid of every weight and entangling sin. Let us run with endurance the race set before us, focusing on Yeshua, the initiator and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame; and He has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God.. (Hebrews 12:1-2 TLV)

Should We Keep Looking?

Image
John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” — Matthew 11:2-3 (NLT) You can be certain, that we don’t need to look for anyone else. Yeshua is the Messiah, our risen Savior. After John the Baptist baptized Jesus, Matthew 3:16-17 says, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” As he sat in prison, something caused John the Baptist to doubt the Word of Yahweh. Never let difficult circumstances cause you to doubt. Yeshua is the only way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. (See John 14:6)

Endure to the End

Image
“A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed. And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved.” — Matthew 10:21-22 (NLT) When trials, troubles and temptations come your way, don’t grow weary and quit. Let us endure hardship as good soldiers of Jesus the Christ. (See 2 Timothy 2:3 NKJV) Hebrews 12:7 (NLT) instructs us to, endure divine discipline, and remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? James 1:12 (NLT) says: God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. Whatever challenges and difficulties you face, keep pressing on. Keep following Yeshua. ...despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. ...

What Joy!

Image
For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, what joy for those who trust in you. — Psalms 84:11-12 (NLT) Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal.
If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. (Psalms 40:4-5 NLT) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalms 9:10 LSB) Proverbs 16:20 (NLT) says, those who trust the LORD will be joyful. May our joy not be based on external circumstances, but on Yahweh in Whom we trust.  The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksg...

Let It Go

Image
Pray like this: … and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. — Matthew 6:9, 12 (NLT) First Corinthians 13:5 (NLT) says, love keeps no record of being wronged. Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others]. (Mark 11:25 AMP) “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15 NLT)  Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [ readily and freely ], just as God in Christ also forgave you. — Ephesians 4:32 (AMP)

“It is Written”

Image
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. — Matthew 4:1 (NKJV) When the devil came to tempt the Lord, three times Jesus responded with what is written in the Scriptures. In Matthew 4:4, He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” In Matthew 4:7, Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’ ” In Matthew 4:10, Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” We must know the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit (See Ephesians 6:17), and speak it out loud. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 NLT) Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he de...

Favor for Life

Image
Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalms 30:4-5 (NKJV) You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. (Psalms 30:11-12 NKJV) Yahweh blesses the righteous one, He surrounds him with favor as with a large shield. (See Psalms 5:12 LSB) May we sing praise to Him and give Him thanks, even during our darkest days, knowing that He will deliver us.

A Precious Corner Stone

Image
For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone,” — 1 Peter 2:6-7 (NASB1995) So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22 NLT) Our Heavenly Father is the Master architect of our lives and King Yeshua is the chief cornerstone. Let us build our lives in Him.

Be Strong & Courageous!

Image
“Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria or his mighty army, for there is a power far greater on our side!” — 2 Chronicles 32:7 (NLT) King Hezekiah spoke these words to the people in Jerusalem when it was being attacked. No matter how circumstances may appear to you today, do not be afraid, nor discouraged. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) “We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Be greatly encouraged. (See 2 Chronicles 32:8 NLT) “ Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” — Deuteronomy 31:16 (AMP)

Seek Wholeheartedly

Image
In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God. In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful. — 2 Chronicles 31:20-21 (NLT) Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. King Hezekiah experienced this Scripture. Let us do what is pleasing and good in the sight of Yahweh. Wisdom brings success, and the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. (See Ecclesiastes 10:10 & Proverbs 9:10 NKJV) May we have a reverent fear of the LORD our God and wholeheartedly follow Him.

Taste & See

Image
O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Oh, fear Yahweh, you His saints; For there is no want to those who fear Him. — Psalms 34:8-9 (LSB) Praise Yah! Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalms 106:1 LSB) I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:1-3 LSB) In Isaiah 55:2-3 (NKJV) the LORD says: “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me…” Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise Yah! (Psalms 106:48 LSB)

Better Than Life

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. — Psalms 63:1, 3 (NASB1995) Do not get discouraged and lose heart, though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. (See 2 Corinthians 4:16) Our lives on this earth are temporary but the lovingkindness of Yahweh endures forever! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; (Psalms 103:2-4 NASB1995) Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. — Psalms 143:8 (NKJV)

Our Refuge

Image
The LORD also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble; And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. — Psalms 9:9-10 (AMP) On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:7-8 NASB1995) “Yahweh is good, a strong defense in the day of distress, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.” (Nahum 1:7 LSB) He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. (Psalms 91:4 NASB1995)

Be Wholly Devoted

Image
For the eyes of Yahweh move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is wholly devoted to Him. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”  — 2 Chronicles 16:9 (LSB) Set your heart and your mind to seek Yahweh, the LORD our God, and to submit to His ways. Serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him… (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 NASB1995) “For God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.” (See 1 Samuel 16:7 LSB) Keep your trust and confidence in Him above all else.

He is Mindful of Us

Image
O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? — Psalms 8:1, 3-4 (NLT) O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! (Psalms 139:1-6) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalms 139:17-18 NLT)  Yahweh has not forgotten ...

Every Gift

Image
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” — James (Jacob) 1:17 (TPT) Yahweh is El Shaddai, the all-sufficient source of all our blessings. He is all-powerful. No situation is too difficult for Him to handle. For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalms 84:11 NLT) “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.” (See 2 Chronicles 6:14 NLT) “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or understand, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 LSB)

He Gives Strength

Image
He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. — Isaiah 40:29-31 (NASB1995) When you need new strength, keep your trust and hope in Yahweh. He gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God! (See Psalms 68:35) “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” (Psalms 55:22 NLT) It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. (Psalms 18:32 NKJV) My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalms 73:26 NKJV) Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. (Psalms 68:19 LSB)

Perfect Peace

Image
“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) When we stay focused on Yahweh, His goodness and His faithfulness, our peace will be perfect and constant. It will not be moved by external circumstances. “Trust in Yahweh forever, for in Yah—Yahweh Himself—we have an everlasting Rock.” (Isaiah 26:4 LSB) casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. (1 Peter 5:7 AMP) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which t...

He Directs Our Steps

Image
“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” — Psalms 37:23 (NLT) A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) We have no problem following the GPS to get where we want to go. However, we sometimes hesitate and question the steps Yahweh directs us to take. Know that Yahweh’s plans for you are good, for peace and well-being. May you follow His instructions to get to the glorious destination He has for you. He has not brought you this far to leave you now.  “ For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. ” — Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

Seek & Find

Image
Inquire of Yahweh and His strength; Seek His face continually. — 1 Chronicles 16:11 (LSB) The God who created the world and everything in it gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. (See Acts 17:24-25 AMP) …and He made from one man every nation of mankind to inhabit all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; (Acts 17:26-27 LSB) God determined our appointed times to be on the earth and set the boundaries of our dwelling places. We are on the earth for such a time as this. Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 LSB) You will seek Him and find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13) The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand (act wisely), who [truly] seek after God, [lo...

Give Thanks

Image
Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. — 1 Chronicles 16:8 (LSB) It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalms 92:1 LSB)  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us make a loud shout to Him with songs of praise. (Psalms 95:2 LSB) Praise Yah! Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalms 106:1 LSB) Let us receive all that He has so generously given with thanksgiving. O LORD, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. (Psalms 30:3-4 NKJV) I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalms 69:30 NKJV)

Bless Our GOD

Image
Let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing his praises. Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling. — Psalms 66:8-9 (NLT) When you go through deep waters, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 NLT) Even though we go through fire and flood, He will bring us to a place of great abundance. (See Psalms 66:12 NLT) He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance. …even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. (See Psalms 65:11 NKJV/NLT) Don’t get discouraged and lose heart. Press on and continually praise our mighty God.

Never Give Up

Image
One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. — Luke 18:1 (NLT) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7 NKJV) Pray without ceasing. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:17 & James 5:16 NASB1995) Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. “For the eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 NASB1995)

Be Eager

Image
The LORD gave me another message. He said, “Go and shout this message to Jerusalem. This is what the LORD says: “I remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.” — Jeremiah 2:1-2 (NLT) No matter how old or young we may be, let us always be eager to please Yahweh, the Everlasting GOD. Be eager to do what is right. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (See Psalms 84:11 NLT) Love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ (See Mark 12:30 NLT) And continue to follow Him, even in the wilderness, in the deep waters and in the desert. He makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters. He is able to make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (See Isaiah 43:16 & 19 NKJV) Our mighty GOD can turn the barren wilderness into a fruitful field.

Seek Him

Image
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. — Psalms 63:1, 3 (NKJV) Seek Him early and often. Seek Him urgently, with every fiber of your being. Yahweh is the only One Who can satisfy. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. (See Psalms 145:16-17 NASB1995) And Yahweh will continually guide you, and satisfy your soul in scorched places, and fortify your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. (Isaiah 58:11 LSB) May His glorious name be praised! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. — Psalms 63:4-5 (NLT)

Be Joyful

Image
And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalms 118:24 NASB1995) For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NLT) Yahweh has made this day and He knows the plans and thoughts that He has for you, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) We can rejoice because Yahweh is a God of forgiveness. He is gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most es...

Believe in the One

Image
Then they asked Him, “What are we to do, so that we may habitually be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.” — John 6:28-29 (AMP) Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. (John 6:47 NASB 1995) Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10 NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16, 18 NKJV) The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for a...

Victory is Ours

Image
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless (ineffectual, without purpose). Through God we will have victory, for He will trample down our enemies. — Psalms 60:11-12 (AMP) When the enemy tries to thwart the work God has called you to, do not fear. Victory belongs to our great God. He is Jehovah Nissi, our banner of victory. In peace [and with a tranquil heart] you will both lie down and sleep, for the LORD alone, make us dwell in safety and confident trust. (See Psalms 4:8 AMP) When the enemy comes, remember Yahweh is with you and He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) Amen.

He is Ready

Image
The LORD says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name. All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people. But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes.” — Isaiah 65:1-2 (NLT) Listen! The LORD’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. (Isaiah 59:1 NLT) The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalms 91:14-16 NLT) O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. (Psalms 86:5 NLT) Ask for His help today. His arms are open and He is ready to draw you closer to Him.

Be On the Alert

Image
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. — 1 Peter 5:8 (NASB1995) Our enemy the devil is always seeking an opportune time to steal, to kill, and to destroy. (See John 10:10) So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. (1 Thessalonians 5:6 NLT) Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:11-12 NASB1995) Whatever your struggle, know that the battle belongs to Yahweh and He has given us the victory through our Lord, King Yeshua the Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57) For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [c...

Dwell in the High & Holy Place

Image
The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:
“I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. — Isaiah 57:15 (NLT) God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (See James 4:6) Let us humble ourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt us, in due time. (See James 4:10 & 1 Peter 5:6) May we dwell in the high and holy place, in the Presence of Yahweh. For His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are our ways His ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:8-9) We shall be holy, for the LORD our God is holy. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV)

Seek Yahweh

Image
Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. — Isaiah 55:6-7 (LSB) “In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD, your Redeemer. (Isaiah 54:8 NLT) “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” (Isaiah 55:3) “For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10 NLT) The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing ...

He Makes a Way

Image
“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, — Isaiah 43:15-16 (NASB1995) Just as He made a way for the Israelites through the wilderness and through the waters, Yahweh still makes a way for His people today. Whatever you are going through today, know that He will show you the way to go. “Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.” (Isaiah 50:7 NLT)

Return to YAHWEH

Image
“I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” — Isaiah 44:22 (NLT) This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it. (Isaiah 30:15 NLT) Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. (Isaiah 55:7 NLT) “What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? (See Isaiah 45:9) Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. (Acts 3:19-20 NLT)

Never Forgotten

Image
This is what the LORD says— the Holy One of Israel and your Creator: “Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands? I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command. — Isaiah 45:11-12 (NLT) We belong to Yahweh, our Maker and Redeemer. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. (Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT) He chose us and He also helps us. We are never forgotten. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” (See Hebrews 13:5) No matter what you are going through today, know that He is with you and He will deliver you.  This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD you...

No Weapon

Image
“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from Me,” says the LORD. — Isaiah 54:17 (AMP) ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ (Isaiah 41:10 AMP) “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT) When opposition, challenges and difficulties come, do not fear because the LORD our God, the Holy One of Israel is with us. He is mighty to save.

Follow His Plan

Image
A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. — Proverbs 16:9 (AMP) You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,” says the LORD, “plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before you drew your first breath. (See Psalms 139:16) We see in part (a very small part), but Yahweh sees the whole picture. Let us humbly submit to Yahweh and His will for us, knowing that His plans for us are good. He will guide you with His counsel, and lead you to a glorious destiny. (See Psalms 73:24 NLT)

A Sacrifice of Thanksgiving

Image
“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.” — Psalms 50:14-15 (NASB1995) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing. (Psalms 107:21-22 NKJV) And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it of your own free will. (Leviticus 22:29 NKJV) in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP) Give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good, for His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalms 136:1 LSB) I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalms 69:30 NKJV) saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might...

He Watches Over You

Image
“casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” — 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon those who fear Him [and worship Him with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], on those who hope [confidently] in His compassion and lovingkindness, to rescue their lives from death and keep them alive in famine. (Psalms 33:18-19 AMP) The one who watches over you never slumbers or sleeps. When you cast your cares and concerns on the LORD, let go of them and leave them there with Him, the One who is able to handle them. Nothing is too difficult for our great and mighty GOD. Take comfort and be at peace knowing that the LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. (See Psalms 121:8 NLT)

Call on His Name

Image
I called on Your name, O Yahweh, out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, “Do not hide Your ear from my prayer for relief, from my cry for help.” You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!” — Lamentations 3:55-57 (LSB) Our heavenly Father hears His children when they call  upon Him for help and He is faithful to deliver us from all our troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NKJV) says: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. “For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love.” (Lamentations 3:31-32 NLT) Psalms 97:10 (NKJV) says, He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalms 9:10 (LSB)

Have Hope

Image
It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.” (Lamentations 3:21 NASB1995) Keep your hope and your confidence in Yahweh because His faithful love never ends. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 NLT) Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. — Psalms 143:8 (NKJV)

Our Refuge & Strength

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains shake into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its lofty pride. Selah. — Psalms 46:1-3 (LSB) Surely He is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:6-8 LSB) He has been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat… (See Isaiah 25:4 NKJV). If you have grown weary draw your strength from Yahweh. If you are in the midst of a storm, take refuge in Him. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 18:30 LSB) How blessed are ALL who take refuge in Him! (See Psalms 2:12 LSB)
