Our Maker

Image
“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer and Creator: “I am the LORD, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?” — Isaiah 44:24 (NLT) But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 LSB) May we be soft and pliable in the hands of our Maker. Bend in the places where He says to bend. He will smooth out our rough places and straighten out the areas that need to be straightened.  Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. (Psalm 95:6-7 NLT) The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O LORD, endures forever— Do not abandon the works of Your own hands. (Psalms 138:8 AMP)

Proclaim the Good News!

Image
“Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.” — 1 Chronicles 16:23-25 (NLT) Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling. (See ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭27 & 29a‬ NLT‬‬) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good for His lovingkindness endures forever. (‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭‭34‬ ‭LSB) Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Interlude. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. But God will smash the heads of his enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. (Psalms 68:19-21 NLT)  Luke 24:47 (NLT) says: There is forgiveness of sins for ALL who repent. “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near....

Listen & Live

Image
“ Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance. ” — Isaiah 55:2 (AMP) In Isaiah 55:3 (NLT), the LORD says: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” Incline your ear to hear the Word of Yahweh, more than the negative news of this world. His Word gives life. (See Psalms 119:50 NKJV) His Word is a source of hope. The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul… (See Psalms 19:7 NLT). Open your eyes to see the wonderful truths in His instructions. And may you hide his word in your heart that you may not sin against Him. (See Psalms 119:18 & 11 NLT)

Turn to the LORD

Image
“Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” — Isaiah 55:6-7 (NLT) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NKJV) For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12 NASB1995) “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Joel 2:12-13 NKJV)

Be Transformed

Image
The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.” — Isaiah 8:11-13 (NLT) And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. (Romans 12:2 AMP) Let us renew our minds with the Word of God, so we can be transformed instead of conforming to the ways of the world.

More Than Conquerors

Image
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. — Romans 8:35, 37 (NLT) Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalms 34:19 NKJV) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. …thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV)

His Hand of Blessing

Image
O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer]. — Psalms 95:6 (AMP) For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. (Psalms 139:13-14 NKJV) You are intimately acquainted with all my ways. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. (Psalms 139:3-5 NLT) Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me.” (Psalms 139:10 TPT) The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. All of your works will thank you, LORD, and your faithful followers will praise you. (Psalms 145:9-10 NLT) When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in...

He Knows

Image
“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB1995) ABBA Father knows the plans. That is such a powerful and liberating fact. The GOD Most High knows . We do not. We don’t have to waste time and energy trying to figure it out. Nothing that happens on this earth, is a surprise to the LORD God Almighty. He had all our days written in His book before we even drew our first breath. (See Psalms 139:16) Our part is walk faithfully with Him, following Him as the Holy Spirit leads us. We must walk by faith, not by sight. (See 2 Corinthians 5:7) May we have the faith to take the steps as He reveals the way. Faith to run when He says run, faith to walk when He says walk. Faith to move when He says to move and faith to be still when He says: “be still.”  Even when disaster strikes, keep your trust in our mighty GOD. And take refuge in the shadow of His wings until the calamities h...

In The Last Days…

Image
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! — 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NKJV) Take no part in the deeds of darkness and evil. Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness. If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.” (Luke 11:35-36 NLT) For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! (Ephesians 5:8 NLT)

The Goodness of GOD

Image
“ Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. ” — Psalms 116:8 (NLT) I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. (Psalms 31:7-8 NLT) God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right. (Psalms 7:17 NLT) So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalms 31:24 NLT) How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. (Psalms 31:19 NLT) I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High. (Psalms 7:17 LSB) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. (Psalms 105:1 LSB)

Stay in Perfect Peace

Image
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. — Isaiah 26:3-4 (NKJV) Experience constant peace as you let your thoughts focus on the LORD and His goodness, and mercy. Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. (Colossians 3:15 AMP) Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16 AMP) Amen.

Perfect, Trustworthy & Right

Image
“The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are clear, giving insight for living.” — Psalms 19:7-8 (NLT) Does your soul need reviving? Do you need insight for living? Do you want your heart to be joyful? Follow the instructions of Yahweh. “They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them.” (Psalms 19:11 NLT) Isaiah 26:8 says, we show our trust in the LORD by obeying His laws. May our heart’s desire be to glorify His name.  The foremost of all the commandments is “ ... The LORD our GOD is one LORD; and you shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”  (See Mark 12:29-31 NASB1995)

Every Good Thing

Image
Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” — Psalms 16:1-2 (NLT) Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NASB1995) The LORD alone is our inheritance, our cup of blessing. He guards all that is ours. (See Psalms 16:5 NLT) “I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” (Psalms 16:7-8 NLT) Give thanks to Yahweh! Let all that I am praise the LORD. Praise His holy name, with your whole heart. May we never forget the good things He does for us. He will show you the way of life, granting you the joy of His presence and the pleasures of living with Him forever. (See Psalms 103:1-2 & 16:11)

Do What is Right

Image
“then God will establish one of David’s descendants as king. He will rule with mercy and truth. He will always do what is just and be eager to do what is right.” — Isaiah 16:5 (NLT)  “What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever.” (Isaiah 5:20-21 NLT) “Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.” (Isaiah 8:20 NLT) May we always be eager to do what is right. The godly will rejoice in the LORD and find shelter in him. And those who do what is right will praise him. (Psalms 64:10 NLT) ...O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you:
to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. — Micah 6:8 (NLT)

A Very Present Help

Image
“I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!” — Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NKJV) “The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.” (Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭5, 7‬ ‭NLT‬‬) As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? (Psalms 18:30-31 NKJV) Trust and rely on Yahweh with all your heart, at all times.

He Welcomes You

Image
“When the apostles returned, they told Jesus everything they had done. Then he slipped quietly away with them toward the town of Bethsaida. But the crowds found out where he was going, and they followed him. He welcomed them and taught them about the Kingdom of God, and he healed those who were sick.” — Luke 9:10-11 (NLT) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NLT) He still brings healing and wholeness to those who are sick. And He still welcomes ALL who choose to follow Him. In Luke 9:23 (NLT), Jesus said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” May we give up our own ways, and follow Yeshua every day. He will empower us to walk in the ways of the Kingdom of God.

Armed with Strength

Image
“ I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. ” — Psalms 18:1-2 (NLT) “…in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.” (Psalms 18:6 NLT) “He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the LORD supported me.” (Psalms 18:16-18 NLT) “God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.” (Psalms 18:30-33 NLT) Let us ...

He Will Answer

Image
“ I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies. ” — Psalms 17:6-7 (NLT) Give ear, O Yahweh, to my prayer; And give heed to the voice of my supplications! In the day of my distress I shall call upon You, for You will answer me. (Psalms 86:6-7 LSB) For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth. (Psalms 108:4-5 NLT) “Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.” (Psalms 63:3-5 NLT)

He Calms the Storm

Image
“ LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor! ” — Psalms 107:28-30 (NLT) The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. (See Nahum 1:3 NKJV) When you go through stormy times, He is with you and He will guide you through. Yahweh is a place of refuge, and a shelter from the storm. Eventually, the storm will be in your rear view. It will come to pass. Our heavenly Father is faithful to bring you safely into harbor. “Let us praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for us. Let us exalt him publicly before the congregation and before the leaders of the nation.” (See Psalms 107:31-32 NLT)  When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation. — Proverbs 10:25 (NLT)

Keep Silent

Image
Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in Judean, saying, “Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria. Thus says the king, ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you from his hand; and do not let Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh will surely deliver us, and this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” — 2 Kings 18:28-30 (LSB) But the people kept silent and did not answer him, for the king had commanded, “Do not answer him.” (2 Kings 18:36 AMP) When the enemy throws fiery darts of threats and insults your way, hold your peace. Sometimes, the best approach is to remain silent. Instead of conversing with the enemy, take it to God. Ecclesiastes 3:7 says: there is a time to be silent and a time to speak. Remain silent and listen for the still small voice of the LORD. The Word of God carries more weight than any other voice. In response to the king of Assyria’s threats, Hezekiah sought the LORD in prayer...

Look No Further

Image
John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’” — Luke 7:20 (NLT) We need look no further than Yeshua. In John 14:6 (AMP), Yeshua said: “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” In Matthew 16:16, Simon Peter said to Him: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 16:17 NKJV) In John 1:41 (NLT), Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”). May we tell all who come our way: Yeshua is the Christ, the Anointed One, Savior of the world. Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, le...

Call to Him

Image
“Thus says Yahweh who made the earth, Y ahweh who formed it to establish it; Yahweh is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” — Jeremiah 33:2-3 (LSB) “Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” (Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT) “How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours!” (Psalms 116:5 NLT) “Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the LORD’s presence as I live here on earth!” (Psalms 116:7-9 NLT)

Always Remember

Image
Then they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer. — Psalms 78:35 (NKJV) May we always remember that we are children of the Most High God, and He is a faithful, faithful Heavenly Father. All the nations belong to Him. Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that Yahweh, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:39 LSB) For You are Yahweh Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. (Psalms 97:9 LSB). He is above ALL. He is over every circumstance in your life, over all diseases, and over every event that takes place on the earth. And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP) Let us yield to His will, knowing that the purpose of the LORD will prevail.

He Remains

Image
Lord, You have been our dwelling place [our refuge, our sanctuary, our stability] in all generations. Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are [the eternal] God. — Psalms 90:1-2 (AMP) “Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. But you are always the same; you will live forever.” (Psalms 102:25-27 NLT) The LORD reigns forever! (See Psalms 9:7 NLT) We can always rely on Him to be with us, each and every day. Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise Yah! (Psalms 106:48 LSB)

Great is His Faithfulness

Image
Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV) “I will sing of the LORD’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.” (Psalms 89:1-2 NLT) “Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 TPT) In Psalms 89:33-34 (NKJV) the LORD said: “…My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” May we trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. (See Psalms 37:3 NASB1995)

Faithfully Serve Him

Image
“Don’t be afraid,” Samuel reassured them. “You have certainly done wrong, but make sure now that you worship the LORD with all your heart, and don’t turn your back on him. Don’t go back to worshiping worthless idols that cannot help or rescue you—they are totally useless!” — 1 Samuel 12:20-21 (NLT) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:12 NKJV) Now worship Yahweh with all your heart. “...be sure to fear the LORD and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24 NLT)

Cling to Your Faith

Image
“Cling  to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.” — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT) No matter how chaotic events become, keep your faith [leaning completely on God with absolute trust and confidence in His guidance]. (See 1 Timothy 1:19 AMP) Ensure that you do not suffer shipwreck in regard to your faith. Keep fighting the good fight. Finish the race, and remain faithful. (See 2 Timothy 4:7 NLT) “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. (Hebrews 10:37-39 NLT)

Seek First

Image
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.  — Matthew 6:33 (AMP) The most profitable and advantageous thing we can invest our time, talents and resources in is the Kingdom of God. “And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. (Luke 12:29-31 NLT)  “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” (Matthew 6:19-21 NLT) “Yes, a ...

He Is Willing

Image
“In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” — Luke 5:12 (NLT) This man humbled himself in the presence of the Lord. Let us bow in His Presence with a humble heart. This man also recognized that Yeshua was able to heal Him. He had faith in Yeshua. However, he said “IF” you are are willing. Know today, that our Savior is indeed willing. In Luke 5:13, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.” King Yeshua reaches out to touch us too. Be receptive to His touch. He is able to heal us and make us clean. Thank Yeshua for who He is, our Redeemer, Advocate and Healer. May we submit to His ways and trust in His timing.

Follow Yeshua

Image
“When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.” — Luke 5:11 (NASB1995) May we, like the early disciples, leave everything and follow Yeshua. In Luke 9:23-24, He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” Let us walk closely with Him every day . The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yeshua has come that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10 NKJV)

“Whom Do You seek?”

Image
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” — Mark 16:6 (NKJV) When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Yeshua, very early in the morning, on the first day of the week. (See Mark 16:1-2) Whom do you seek? The most beneficial and advantageous activity we can engage in is to wholeheartedly seek Yeshua, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. “Behold! He is The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (See John 1:29) He is indeed the Messiah (which translated means Christ). (See John 1:41). “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:14-15 NKJV) And 1 John 5:4 (AMP) says: …everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victo...

Live in the Light

Image
This is the mess age we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; — 1 John 1:5-6 (NASB1995) The LORD is God, and He has given us light [illuminating us with His grace and freedom and joy]. (Psalms 118:27a AMP) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and dense gloom the peoples; But Yahweh will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. (Isaiah 60:1-2 LSB) Who is among you that fears Yahweh, that listens to the voice of His Servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh and rely on his God. (Isaiah 50:10 LSB) May we continually live in the Light.

Patient Endurance

Image
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” — Hebrews 12:1-2 (NLT) “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” (Hebrews 10:23 NLT) Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:36 NLT)

He Is With You

Image
“Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The LORD brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.” — Judges 6:13 (NLT) The question is not “why?” or “what?” It is “WHO?” No matter how devastating circumstances may appear, remember that Yahweh is with you and He is faithful to bring you through all of your troubles. He Himself has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…” (See Hebrews 13:5 & Isaiah 43:2-3 NLT) Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all....

Pursue Holiness

Image
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” — Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV) The call of God is a higher and holy calling. In Isaiah 55:9, Yahweh says, His ways are higher than our ways. It is a calling to be set apart from the world and its ways and live a life that is pleasing to Yahweh. Hebrews 12:14 (TPT) instructs us to “ run swiftly toward holiness.” For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness [to be dedicated, and set apart by behavior that pleases Him, whether in public or in private]. (1 Thessalonians 4:7 AMP) Conforming to a life of holiness is not something we can do on our own. It is the work of the Holy Spirit within us. As we truly seek to follow Christ and submit to God’s ways, we will be empowered by His Holy Spirit to do so. “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape al...

Taste & See

Image
“O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” — Psalms 34:8 (LSB) Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. (Psalms 34:9-10 NLT) The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. ...He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. (Psalms 34:7, 91:11 LSB) “I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together.” (Psalms 34:1-3 LSB)  For Yahweh is good; His lovingkindness endures forever and His faithfulness, generation unto generation. (Psalms 100:5 LSB)

Turn to GOD

Image
“Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God...” — Luke 3:8a (NLT) May we not just honor Yahweh with our words, but with our actions as well. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person... (See Romans 12:2) Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. (Galatians 6:9 AMP) I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’ (Hosea 10:12 NLT) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  (Galatians 6:7 NKJV)

Abiding Victory

Image
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] — John 16:33 (AMP) Yeshua told us that in this world there would be tribulation. However, we can remain in perfect peace because He has overcome the world. Yeshua is Immanuel, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:123) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) No matter what happens, we can have perfect peace knowing that God will work all things together for good (See Romans 8:28), and in King Yeshua, our Savior, we have already gained the victory.

Rejoice!

Image
This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) The fact that Yahweh woke us up this morning is a reason to rejoice. The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 LSB) Thank God for the fresh new mercies He poured out on us this morning. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. (Philippians 4:4-5 AMP)

Every Gift

Image
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” — James (Jacob) 1:17 (TPT) Every good and perfect gift has been freely given to us by our heavenly Father. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. (2 Peter 1:3 NLT) God has lavished on us extraordinary grace. Praise God for his astonishing gift, which is far too great for words! (See 2 Corinthians 9:14-15 TPT) God’s gracious gift is eternal life in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. (See Romans 6:23 TLV) For by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8 NKJV) May we receive all the Father has for us with an open and humble heart.  Oh, that men would give thanks to t...

Find New Strength

Image
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:30-31 (NLT) The Eternal is the source of my strength and the shield that guards me. When I learn to rest and truly trust Him, He sends His help. This is why my heart is singing! I open my mouth to praise Him, and thankfulness rises as song. (Psalms 28:7 VOICE) Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. (Psalms 40:4 NLT) You who [reverently] fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is our help and our shield. (See Psalms 115:11 AMP) As we rest in His Presence and trust Yahweh, He will lead us and give us the strength to go and accomplish what He has called us to. I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpo...

Better Than Life

Image
“O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You.”  — Psalms 63:1, 3 (NASB1995)  “I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.”  — Psalms 63:4-5 (NLT) The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. (Lamentations 3:22 LSB) They are certainly better than life itself. “…With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.” (See Psalms 84:2 NLT) For He is a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness. He loves us with an everlasting love, and He draws us to Himself with lovingkindness. Even Yahweh, the God of hosts, Yahweh is His name of remembrance. Therefore, return to your God, keep lovingkindness an...

He Reigns!

Image
“Yet Yahweh is never shaken — he is still found in his temple of holiness, reigning as King Yahweh over all. He closely watches and examines everything man does. With a glance, his eyes examine every heart, for his heavenly rule will prevail over all.” — Psalms 11:4 (TPT)  It's His will that shall be done, not ours. So set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. Second Chronicles 12:14 (NKJV) says King Rehoboam did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD. Let us follow King David’s advice to Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9 (NKJV), to know God and to serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind. For the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. (Psalms 121:7-8 NKJV) “. ..remember this: Yahweh is the Rig...

Rejoice in GOD!

Image
Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!”  — Luke 1:46-47 (NLT) “For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones. He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble.” (Luke 1:49-52 NLT) The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. (Psalms 28:7 NKJV) Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. (Psalms 32:11 LSB) “I will proclaim the name of the LORD; how glorious is our God! He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!” — Deuteronomy 32:3-4 (NLT)

Never Fail

Image
“For the word of God will never fail.” — Luke 1:37 (NLT) When the angel gave Mary the word of the LORD, she replied, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” (See Luke 1:38 AMP) Mary displayed a trust in God and a willingness to yield to His will. As followers of Christ, may we trust God and yield to His will, His Word and His ways. When we stand on the Word of God, we are standing on solid ground. Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. (Psalms 119:89 NKJV) In Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV), Yahweh says: “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Blessed & Favored

Image
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor;
No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts,
how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalms 84:11-12 (AMP) Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (Psalms 34:9-10 NKJV) How blessed is the man who has made Yahweh his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who stray into falsehood. (Psalms 40:4 LSB)  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalms 9:10 LSB) For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12 NASB1995) And Your favor lasts a lifetime! (See Psalms 30:...

More Worship & Less Worry

Image
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) Cast your burden upon Yahweh and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 LSB) What we give our attention to magnifies. Let us spend more time praising our great GOD than we do talking about what the enemy is doing. Proverbs 19:21 (NLT) says: You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. No matter what the enemy is planning the battle still belongs to Yahweh and Yeshua has already won the victory. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:3 LSB) He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

Renew Your Hope

Image
“So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.” — Psalms 78:7 (NLT) From one man God created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. (See Acts 17:26 NLT) The people of this generation are here for such a time as this. No matter what current circumstances may be, let us set our hope anew on Yahweh. He is faithful to equip us with all we need for doing His will. Keep on hoping for His help and praise Him more and more. (See Psalms 71:14 NLT) Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:23-24 NKJV)

Bitter & Sweet

Image
She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi (sweetness); call me Mara (bitter), for the Almighty has caused me great grief and bitterness. I left full [with a husband and two sons], but the LORD has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi, since the LORD has testified against me and the Almighty has afflicted me?” — Ruth 1:20-21 (AMP) Naomi was very bitter at the loss of her husband and sons, but look how Yahweh blessed her life in the end. (See Ruth 4:16-17) May we let no root of bitterness spring up in our hearts during difficult times of loss and grief. Also, don’t judge a matter before it’s time. Everything happens at the time appointed by GOD. And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP) Yahweh eventually works all things together for good, not on our timetable but on His. Naomi didn’t look at ...

Never Forget

Image
My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. — Proverbs 3:1-2 (NLT) Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. (Proverbs 2:2-3) Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:5-6) For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. (Proverbs 2:10-11)  I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations. (Psalms 119:30) So follow the steps of the good, and stay on the paths of the righteous. For only the godly will live in the land, and those with integrity will remain in it. (Proverbs 2:20-21 NLT)
