Remember the LORD
“I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious and stubborn people, who walk in the way that is not good, [following] after their own thoughts and intentions,” —Isaiah 65:2 (AMP)
We walk a crooked path when we turn away from God’s will to follow our own selfish, fleshly desires. Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s people. For they have chosen crooked paths and have forgotten the LORD their God. (Jeremiah 3:21 NLT) Remember the LORD, Who knew you before He formed you in your mother's womb. His plans for you are good.
“My wayward children,” says the LORD, “come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.” (Jeremiah 3:22a NLT) The arms of the LORD are open wide, waiting to embrace His children who have strayed away. May the answer of our hearts be the same as His people in Jeremiah 3:22b (NLT): “Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply, “for you are the LORD our God.
