God of Restoration

So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.” —Joel 2:25 (NKJV)

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12 NASB). There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NASB1995) Psalm 119:71 (NLT) says: My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees.

We will endure some trials and troubles. We will experience suffering and pain, but know that our great and mighty God is a God of restoration. So after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. (See 1 Peter 5:10) Psalm 23:3a (AMP) says: He refreshes and restores my soul (life). Job endured much suffering, and we can see the outcome of the Lord’s dealings with him, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (See James 5:11) ...the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10 NKJV) May the LORD bless you and give you double for your trouble.
