More Than Enough

Image
…but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) While the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10). His lovingkindness and mercy is more than enough and always available for every situation or circumstance. The Lord is so full of unfailing love for all who ask for his help. (Psalm 86:5b NLT) For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. (Psalm 86:5 NKJV)

His Love Remains

Image
“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (NLT) Your world may be falling apart, but His unfailing love will remain. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (Romans 8:35 NLT). No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NLT). None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. (Romans 8:38 MSG)

Open Invitation

Image
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. — Revelation 22:17 (NKJV) Just as Adam and Eve did in the garden of eden, we often try to hide from God. However, we have an open invitation. Jesus always beckons us to come to Him. Let us remove the clutter from our lives and tear down the walls that keep us from drawing closer to our heavenly Father. May we come to Jesus with our hearts open wide and let the continual flow of His love flood our hearts and change our lives. Jesus said, “ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. ” (John 6:37 NKJV)

From the Inside Out

Image
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. — Romans 12:2 (NKJV) We often focus on changing our behavior, but real transformation starts on the inside. What we allow our minds to dwell on and what we let seep into our hearts determines our behavior. It's when we renew our mind by meditating on the Word of God and spend time with our heavenly Father, allowing His love to penetrate our hearts, that our thoughts, attitudes and behavior will change. Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. (Ephesians 4:22-24 NLT)

Take the City!

Image
But it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the LORD has given you the city! — Joshua 6:15-16 (NKJV) So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. (Joshua 6:20). I believe, when we execute the marching orders the LORD has given us and we give that victory shout, we too will see the walls of our adversaries come down. See the walls of sickness, lack and fear fall down. Invade the city with the grace, love and peace of the LORD.  Shout to God with the voice of tri...

I will Rejoice!

Image
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) Habakkuk is saying that no matter how bad his outer circumstances appeared, he was not going to allow them to stop him from praising God. When your situation looks hopeless, do not fret, and have no worries, continue to rejoice in the God of our salvation. Surely, no situation is too difficult for the LORD to handle. With our great God all things our possible.

Image

It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We have a mission and a purpose to fulfill, as we make the most of the gifts and talents He has given to us.
