Do Not Be Deceived

“At the end of their rule, when their sin is at its height, a fierce king, a master of intrigue, will rise to power. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause a shocking amount of destruction and succeed in everything he does. He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people. He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.Daniel 8:23-25 (NLT)

Titus 1:10 (NASB1995) warns us that there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. (2 John 1:7 NASB1995) Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Know the truth, the Holy Scriptures. Fight the good fight, finish the course, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7)

Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:12-13 NASB1995) But in the end, they will be broken. “The kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” (See Revelation 11:15 NASB1995) To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
