He is Able

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJ) Glory to God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly over and above all that we dare ask or think and infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams (Amplified). As we allow His power to work within us, He is well able to do immeasurably more than anything we ask or think. In other words, unlimited possibilities await us. If the mind can conceive it, God can achieve it. Know that we serve a big and mighty God. To Him be glory, honor and praise forever and ever!

Lift Your Soul

To you, O Lord, I lift my soul. No one who waits for you will ever be put to shame, but all who are unfaithful will be put to shame. Make your ways known to me, O Lord, and teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me because you are God, my savior. I wait all day long for you. Psalm 25:1, 3-5 (GW) Lift your soul, that is your mind, will and emotions, to the Lord. Put them in His hands and patiently wait. God leads us in His truth and teaches us His ways. He will show you the path that is for you.

He is Close

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalm 23:4 (NLT) No matter how dark the valley, we have no reason to fear because the LORD is close beside us. He uses His rod to protect us and His staff to guide us. As long as we keep taking steps of faith, we will walk through the darkness and into His marvelous light. Take comfort in His loving Presence.

The Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Psalm 23:1-3 (NLT) As we follow the Shepherd, we have all that we need. He lets us rest in lush, green pastures and leads us to still waters. He blesses us with peace and protection. The Lord renews our strength and guides us along the right path. Let us bring honor to His name in all that we do and say.

No Good Thing Withheld

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]! Psalm 84:11-12 (Amp) The blessings of the Lord are for this present life and our future, eternal one. The Lord makes His face shine upon us. He graciously shows us kindness, mercy and favor. God withholds no good thing from those who do what is right. How blessed and full of joy is the person who trusts in the Lord!

Turn to the LORD

All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the LORD’s, And He rules over the nations. Psalm 22:27-28 (NKJ) During foreclosures, lay-offs and economic upheaval, turn to the LORD. In earthquakes, floods and fires, look to the LORD. In the midst of conflicts, battles, and wars may the LORD be remembered. Let families all over the world worship the LORD and seek first the kingdom of God.

Trust in His Name

Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. Psalm 20:6-8 (NIV) Don't put your confidence in the temporary things of this world. Trust in the strong and mighty name of the LORD our God. We will rise up and stand firm with the conquering power of His right hand as we call upon the name of the LORD.

Your Heart's Desires

May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers. Psalm 20:4-5 (NLT) Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14-15, NKJ). As you abide in the LORD and let His Word abide in you, ask for your heart's desire and He will answer all your prayers, (John 15:7). God will give you success with all your plans and others will shout a joyful praise to God when they hear of your victory!

Kindness & Favor

Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But while Joseph was there in the prison, the LORD was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. Genesis 39: 20-21 (NIV) Many of us would not see the blessing in being wrongfully accused of a crime and getting thrown in prison. That is exactly what happened to Joseph and God continued to show Him kindness and favor. Sometimes we don't understand why God allows certain situations in our lives, but at those times, we must remember Almighty God is with us and He will cause all things to work together for good to those who love God, and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in those difficult places, the LORD's lovingkindness, favor and protection are upon us. Amen.

Refresh Your Soul

The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. Psalm 19:7-8 (NIV) May we meditate on and trust in the perfect Word of God. As we follow the instructions of the LORD, they make us wise, our souls are refreshed and our hearts are filled with joy. His commands are clear and they give us insight on how to live a holy, happy and healthy life.

Shield of Victory

You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. Psalm 18:35-36 (NLT) Let us rejoice because we are on the winning side and our victory is for all eternity. Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Every child of God overcomes the hardships, adversities, and sufferings of this world. With the support of our great God, we triumph over our enemies. So when trouble comes your way, hold up God's shield of victory and praise Him.

Armed with Strength

God arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like those of a deer and gives me sure footing on high places. Psalm 18:32-33 (GW) Let the weak say, “I am strong!” The Most High God strengthens us with power through his Spirit in our inner beings. Let us serve the LORD with the strength that only He can provide because we can do all things through Him who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13). Hallelujah!

Perfect and Proven

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? Psalm 18:30-31 (NKJ) God’s way is perfect. His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8). All the LORD’s promises have proven to be true. His word that goes forth from His mouth does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes His desire, and achieves the purpose for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11). Let us follow the wise ways of the LORD, our God and stand on His wonderful word.

Break Through Barricades

O Lord, you light my lamp. My God turns my darkness into light. With you I can attack a line of soldiers. With my God I can break through barricades. Psalm 18:28-29 (God's Word) God lights our lamps so we can see which way to go. When all we can see is pitch black, God shines His light, like the sun rising in its strength. With God on our side, our enemies who rise against us will be defeated. They will attack from one direction, but they will flee in seven directions (Deut. 28:7). With our mighty God, we can break through any barricade that tries to block our path.

What Marvelous Love!

What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we're called children of God! That's who we really are. 1 John 3:1a (The Message) This is how we've come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves (1 John 3:16, The Message). Let us take the marvelous, sacrificial love that we have received and share it with our brothers and sisters. Jesus said, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Happy Valentine's Day!

Rock, Fortress & Deliverer

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. Psalm 18:2 (NKJ) The Lord is the immovable Rock on w hom we stand. We will not be shaken, as we trust Him. God is our strong Fortress, in whom we take refuge, and He shelters us from the storms. The Lord is our Deliverer who rescues us from the attacks of our enemies. He alone is our saving strength with the power to save us and give us eternal life. Praise the Lord!

Don't Look Back!

As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!” Genesis 19:17 (NIV) When Sodom and Gomorrah were about to be destroyed, Lot and his family were warned by the angels, not to look back. Lot's wife became a pillar of salt because she chose to look back. Do you spend more time looking at the days gone by, than living the beautiful one you have right now? It is a waste of time to look back. It is like having your car in drive and putting one foot on the accelerator and one foot on the brake. You will never go anywhere. You cannot change the past. So stop holding onto the wrongs that were done to you and let go of the mistakes you made. Then move into your bright new future making better, healthier choices. Be Led by His Spirit

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (NAS) We cannot accomplish anything of lasting value in our own strength. It is only through the Spirit of God, who dwells in us that we achieve anything of great worth. As we are led by the wisdom and revelation that comes from the Holy Spirit, we can do all that God calls us to. May you be strengthened with the power of His Spirit.

Pleasures Forevermore

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 (NKJ) Without God, who can eat or find enjoyment? To the person who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness (Ecclesiastes 2:25-26). Our joy is made complete in God's presence. Delight yourself in the presence of the LORD, and experience a continuous flow of sheer pleasures at His right hand.

By Your Side

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:7-8 (NLT) Listen to the LORD. His guidance is full of wisdom and truth. You will not be shaken, with Him by your side. Stand with our eternal God and you will not be swayed by situations that come and go. Instead of finding yourself "under" the circumstances, you will be strong and immovable.

Extravagant Love

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. Ephesians 5:1-2 (The Message) Do you find it difficult to love that spouse who treats you wrong? Are you having trouble getting along with that co-worker or boss? Then you have probably asked God, "how can I love that person who is so hard to get along with?" Ephesians 5:1-2 answers that question. As we keep company with God, watch what He does and then do it, we will learn to live in love. God is love and as we spend time with Him, we take on His nature. Rooted in Love

I also pray that love may be the ground into which you sink your roots and on which you have your foundation. This way, with all of God’s people you will be able to understand how wide, long, high, and deep his love is. You will know Christ’s love, which goes far beyond any knowledge. I am praying this so that you may be completely filled with God. Ephesians 3:17-19 (GW) Let us be deeply rooted and grounded in God's love. His love is a secure foundation that makes us strong. And may you understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. I pray that you experience the eternal love of Christ which surpasses knowledge and be completely filled with the Presence of God.

Every Good & Perfect Gift

Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” Psalm 16:1-2 (NLT) Every good and perfect gift comes to us from God, our Father (James 1:17). He gives us shelter and keeps us safe in the storms. He has given us His Word, a beacon of light to show us the way through the darkness. He provides fullness of joy and precious peace in place of sadness and anxiety. He gives us strength, when we are weak. And the most perfect gift He gives us is His unconditional, unending love. In love, He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to save us all. Glory hallelujah!

His Love Never Fails

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. Psalm 13:5-6 (NLT) Trust in God's unfailing love. Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39). No matter what happens in this life, we know we can count on the love of God. If everyone else leaves you, God is there with His arms open wide.

Filled with Joy!

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1-2 (NLT) Let us be filled with great joy because of our awesome God and His undying love. We experience fullness of joy in His Presence and pleasures forevermore by His side (Psalm 16:11). The LORD Most High has done marvelous things. Praise Him with all your heart, soul and strength. May the joy of the LORD fill your heart until it spills over and splashes on those around you.

Relief!

Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1 (NIV) Relief. When I uttered those words this morning, my muscles relaxed and God's calming, soothing Spirit washed over me. He took my nerves which were like a rubberband stretched to its maximum limit and laid each one out in His peaceful, yet powerful, Presence. I felt the warm glow of relief and exhaled. As the Amplified Bible says, God frees us up when we are hemmed in and enlarges us when we are in distress (Psalm 4:1). Because of He who is in us, we are larger than anything that comes against us. How do YOU spell relief? I spell it, G O D. Remember to slow down. Sit in His Presence and unwind. Loosen up. He will give you relief.

Our Testimony

They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life so much that they refused to give it up. Revelation 12:11 (GW) The people of God overcome Satan by the blood of Jesus Christ and the word of our testimony. What are you saying? Tell people the good news about what God has done in your life. Tell about the goodness, grace and mercy He has shown to you. Proclaim the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior of the world.

A Shield Around Us

But, Lord, you are my shield, my wonderful God who gives me courage. I will pray to the Lord, and he will answer me from his holy mountain. Selah Psalm 3:3-4 (NCV) The LORD, our God surrounds us like a protective shield. He has us covered on every side. So we can be strong and courageous as we fight the good fight of faith. Our heavenly Father will supply all that we need to fulfill our mission, and when we pray, He will answer. Amen.
