Peace be with You
Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” —John 20:19 (NKJV)
Do we let fear keep us shut up and locked in? When fear and insecurity tries to stop you from accomplishing your mission and fulfilling your purpose, open the door of your mind and let Jesus come in. He speaks peace to you. When He speaks, the winds of adversity cease. Let your mind be still from all the “what if…” scenarios, that make you anxious and distressed. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7). There is no fear in the unfailing love God has for us. His perfect love casts out all fear.
