Ready to Help

 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. —Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT)

Our God is a mighty God and a well-proven help in times of trouble. The Message Bible says, “We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake…” (Psalm 46:2) No matter how dismal external circumstances may appear, be courageous and keep the faith. God says, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15) He is always ready to help.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
