The LORD is Near

The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. —Psalm 23:1-3 (AMP)

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 NLT) No matter how dark the valley we go through, we never have to fear because the LORD is near. And the power of His perfect love casts out all fear.
