He encouraged the believers to remain faithful and cling to the Lord with passionate hearts. — Acts 11:23 (TPT) Like Barnabas, may you too, see God’s marvelous grace at work, in the midst of your life. Here to Rescue

Image
For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction, but will have everlasting life. Here’s the point. God didn’t send His Son into the world to judge it; instead, He is here to rescue a world headed toward certain destruction . — John 3:16-17 (VOICE) The LORD replies, “ I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do. ” (Psalm 12:5 NLT) God's  desire is for all to be saved. Once we become members of His family, He continues to watch over us and wants only the best for us. Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. (Psalm 34:19 AMP)

He Shows Us the Way

Image
I will teach you and tell you the way to go and how to get there; I will give you good counsel, and I will watch over you. — Psalm 32:8 (VOICE) No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 MSG) His eye is on us to lead us and guide us. His Spirit within, enables us to go where He directs and empowers us to do as He instructs. Instead of aimless wandering, just follow Him. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” — Psalm 32:8  (NLT)

Be Thankful

Image
…in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) Ephesians 5:20 (VOICE) instructs us to give thanks to God the Father every day through the name of our Lord Jesus the Anointed for all He has done. Every day we are to be thankful, no matter what the circumstances. Since He woke you up this morning, there is more to come. God is still working and moving in your life and in your heart. Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! (Psalm 103:1-5 NLT)

Never Quit!

Image
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. — Hebrews 12:1-2 (MSG) Even though it’s a long distance race, may we continually run with passion and determination. Let us stay focused on Jesus, who designed and perfected our faith. And never lose sight of where you’re headed. Amen.

Ready to Help

Image
God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy winds and huge waves, or as mountains shake, we are sure and fearless. — Psalm 46:1-3 (VOICE) Let us can remain calm and full of peace, in the midst of difficult circumstances. We can stand firm and secure, knowing that with God on our side, nothing can stand against us. Our God is near and He's always ready to help. Never Thirst Again

Image
Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” — John 4:13-14 (NKJV) When we draw from the well of the world for our needs, we will always have to go back and draw again. The things of this world will never satisfy our souls. When we open our hearts and receive Jesus we become the well that contains living water, His Holy Spirit. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? (1 Corinthians 6:19a NLT) Jesus is our only hope. He is the source of all our joy and peace. He fills our cup to overflowing. He is the truth that sets us free, the living Word. Jesus saves and delivers. He is the answer to every challenge and situation. When we fully rely on God, we will not be disappointed. Amen.

Praise & Worship Him

Image
How happy are those who have learned how to praise You; those who journey through life by the light of Your face. Every hour of the day, they rejoice at the sound of Your name. They are lifted up and encouraged by Your righteousness. — Psalm 89:15-16 (VOICE) Instead of pondering over problems, put your eyes on our great God and praise Him. Praise Him for all He has done, is doing and will do. He is so worthy of all our praise. Our heavenly Father has given us His unfailing love, everlasting peace, and uncontainable joy,  we just need to open our hearts and receive it. And not let the enemy steal it. Amen! Worship the Most High God for Who He is, Creator of all. Let thoughts of His goodness and faithfulness fill your mind. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship … (Psalm 89:15a NLT).

Continue to Follow

Image
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) The choice to follow Christ is a moment by moment decision. Let us make a dedicated decision to continually follow Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. When we build our lives, with Him as the foundation, our faith will grow strong. The Amplified Bibles says, “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin],” (Colossians 2:6) Amen. Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord, into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives. — Colossians 2:6 (VOICE)

Choose to Rejoice

Image
Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:18 (AMP) No matter how chaotic your circumstances may seem, choose to rejoice in the Lord. Realize that the great “ I AM ” is the source of your strength and He empowers you to be more than a conqueror. We can choose to rejoice because Jesus has already gained the victory for us. The challenges we face, fade into the background, when we gaze upon the light of His magnificent Presence. As we submit to the work of the Holy Spirit within us, His mighty power works in us and through us, and we go from glory to glory, full of peace and joy. The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility] . — Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP)

He Rescues

Image
The Eternal your God is standing right here among you, and He is the champion who will rescue you. He will joyfully celebrate over you; He will rest in His love for you; He will joyfully sing because of you like a new husband. — Zephaniah 3:17  (VOICE) Acts 7:9-10a (NLT) says: “These patriarchs were jealous of their brother Joseph, and they sold him to be a slave in Egypt. But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles…” Just as God was with Joseph, He is with you and will rescue you from all your troubles. He is our Champion, Who goes before us and makes a way out of no way. What people mean for evil toward you, God can turn it around for good. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. — Psalm 34:17 (NKJV)

Complete Dependence

Image
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it. — Isaiah 30:15 (NLT) Return to the LORD, with all your heart, mind and soul. Prioritize Him with your time. Stop the busyness of all the thoughts racing in your head. Be still and acknowledge that the LORD is God. Stand in awe of His magnificence. We are not to rely on ourselves, but on our heavenly Father. The Message Bible says: … stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me— The very thing you’ve been unwilling to do . (Isaiah 30:15)

Forever Faithful Father

Image
And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” — Galatians 4:6 (NLT) See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. (1 John 3:1 NLT) Our heavenly Father is the greatest Father of all. How enduring is God’s loyal love; the Eternal has inexhaustible compassion. Here they are, every morning, new! Your faithfulness, God, is as broad as the day. (Lamentations 3:22-23 VOICE) He is the Promise Keeper. He is faithful to fulfill every promise He makes. Lord, you’re so kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and so patient with people who fail you! Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. (Psalm 103:8 TPT) Your love is so extravagant it reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness so astonishing it stretches to ...

Never Doubt

Image
Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! — Ephesians 3:20-21 (TPT) Never doubt the Most High God or His mighty power. He is ABLE! James 1:6 says, he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. (James 1:6b TPT) Stand strong in your commitment and loyalty to God. In Luke 22:32, Jesus prayed for believers, that our faith would not fail. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work...

Follow the Shepherd

Image
The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. — Psalm 23:1-4 (NLT) Sheep are helpless and not very smart, but they are kept safe as long as they stay close to the shepherd. Instead of trying to figure everything out on our own, we can just keep following Jesus, our Good Shepherd and we shall not want. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:3 NKJV) Not only has God created us—a gracious act of love in and of itself—but He has made us His own people. He has chosen us and loved us. (from the VOICE Bible) In John 10:11 Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His lif...

He will Make a Way

Image
“ Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ” — Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV) When there seems to be no way out of a challenging situation, you can be certain the LORD will make a way. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect. (Samuel 22:33 NKJV) Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. — Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT)

Here to Help

Image
For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’ — Isaiah 41:13 (NASB) God has a firm grip on you and He will not let go. Don’t give in to worry and have no fear. There is no need to panic or be distraught. You can be calm and confident. The great “I AM” is a very present help. He made the heavens and the earth by His great power and by His outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for the Lord. (Jeremiah 32:17) Amen! “… and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us. ” — Matthew 1:23 (NKJV)

Delight Yourself in the LORD

Image
Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. — Psalm 37:4 (NASB) May our heart's desire be for more of our Heavenly Father. Only God can satisfy the deep longing of your soul. Delight yourself in Him, in His Presence and in His Word. He will show you the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)  In His Presence we have the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding. It will stand guard over your heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) In Him, we have a constant Companion. We are precious in His sight and His thoughts of us outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:18) May we think of Him as often as He thinks of us.

Drawn!

Image
The LORD appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP) Just as the LORD drew Israel to Himself, He has drawn us with unfailing love. His love never fails. It never runs out on us. Open your heart and receive the lovingkindness that He continually lavishes on us. Great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:23), and it endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). He is faithful to see you through every trial. He is faithful to heal all your hurts. And He is faithful to provide all your needs. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (Psalm 92:2)

Our Greatest Need

Image
When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word]. ” — Psalm 27:8 (AMP) The Presence of our heavenly Father is our greatest need, and praise God, that He will never leave nor forsake us. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus said, “… and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ” Before you feed your physical body with food and drink, fill your spiritual cup with the delights of His Presence. Before you scan your social media posts, be still and acknowledge His Presence first. As we maintain continual conversation with Him throughout our day, we deepen our intimacy with the LORD. Always listen for His still small voice. As children of God, it's not about rules and religion. Instead, our lives are to be about growing and developing our relationship with our heavenly Father and inviting others to join our awesome family.

Rejoice & Be Glad

Image
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:17-19 MSG) In other words, no matter how circumstances may appear at this present time, I’m choosing to rejoice and be glad in this day, that the LORD has given to me. We always have His Presence with us, and nothing is impossible with our great God!

Trust God’s Action

Image
My counsel is this: Live freely, animated and motivated by God’s Spirit. Then you won’t feed the compulsions of selfishness. — Galatians 5:16 (MSG) Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God’s action in them find that God’s Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life.(Romans 8:5-6 MSG) Amen!

The Present Gift

Image
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NASB) Today is a good gift that our heavenly Father has given to each one of us. Don’t waste a minute of this perfect gift by fretting about the future or regretting things of the past. Stay in the moment, continually communing with Abba Father. If you hold onto bitterness because of past wrongs, then you tarnish today. Instead, let us joyfully accept the gift of today and unwrap with great expectation, savoring every moment. Because the best gift of all is in the present, in His Presence. ‘ May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace. ’ (Numbers 6:24-26 NLT), as you abide in His Presence today.

Fix Your Gaze

Image
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT) When we get anxious, it’s because we are focused on the visible world, the things we can see: the challenges and troubles. However, when we fix our gaze on our mighty God, whom we cannot see, we stay in perfect peace, no matter how circumstances appear. As thoughts about Him and His goodness and faithfulness fill our minds, our trust in Him grows stronger. If we are feeling overwhelmed, it’s because we think we have to do things in our own power. But remember, our battles our won, not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. Be led by His Spirit continually.

Make God Your Home

Image
For we  live by believing and not by seeing. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT) Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you. You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses. Yes, because God’s your refuge, the High God your very own home, evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door. (Psalm 91:5-10 MSG) No disaster, nor deadly disease is greater than our mighty God. Trust Him and make the LORD your home, your dwelling place. Believe His Word in your heart and speak it out of your mouth. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? — 2 Corinthians 5:7-8a (MSG)

Seek the LORD

Image
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) Daily seek the LORD and His will and He will show you the right path. Psalm 143:8 (NKJV) says, “ Cause me to he ar Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. ” May you hear His unfailing love each morning and follow His guidance every day. Praise the LORD! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving . — Psalm 28:6-7  (NLT)

Be Confident & Fearless

Image
The LORD is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the refuge and fortress of my life— Whom shall I dread? — Psalm 27:1 (AMP) Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], who delights greatly in His commandments. (Psalm 112:1 AMP) Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. (Psalm 112:4 NLT) Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. (Psalm 112:6-8 NLT)

Keep Pressing On!

Image
Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air. — Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) No matter what you may be going through, remember: this too shall pass. Keep pressing on with the Lord! He is faithful to fulfill all His wonderful promises. There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heave n— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (AMP)
