Set Your Sights
Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (TPT)
You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. So we do not set our sights on the things we can see with our eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, we focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 VOICE) Set your sights on the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He reigns in power and victory. Seek first His Kingdom.
All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. —1 Timothy 1:17 (NLT)
