The One Who Helps

For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” —Isaiah 41:13 (ESV)

The great “I AM” is the One who helps us. Elohim, Creator of the universe, and all it contains. He is the all-sufficient and all-powerful El Shaddai. He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (See Acts 17:25 NKJV) Nothing is too difficult for the LORD.

God chose us to be in a relationship with Him even before He laid out plans for this world… (See Ephesians 1:4 VOICE) And He doesn't leave us as orphans. He promises to be with us always. When you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 ESV) Whatever you're going through today, you can confidently rely on His help. Amen.

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
