Avoid Shipwreck

Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT)

Cling to your faith in Christ and do not doubt nor waver. Lean completely on God with absolute trust and confidence in His guidance (see 1 Timothy 1:19 AMP). James 1:6 says, the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. (See James 1:8) Be anchored in Christ, our Savior, and avoid shipwreck.

…we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; (Ephesians 4:14 NASB1995) Instead, let us speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. (See Ephesians 4:15 NLT)

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NLT)
