Believe

The people refused to enter the pleasant land, for they wouldn’t believe his promise to care for them. Instead, they grumbled in their tents and refused to obey the LORD.Psalm 106:24-25 (NLT)

Some wandered in the wilderness, lost and homeless. Hungry and thirsty, they nearly died. “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress. (Psalm 107:4-6 NLT) Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery. They rebelled against the words of God, scorning the counsel of the Most High. That is why he broke them with hard labor; they fell, and no one was there to help them. “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. (Psalm 107:10-13 NLT) Yahweh is faithful. He is the LORD, and He does not change. (See Malachi 3:6) Believe His promise to care for His people. Instead of grumbling and complaining, praise the LORD for His great love and for the wonderful things He has done for us. (See Psalm 107:15)

…without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)
