When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods who will go before us." What form do our idols have today? For some, the idol may be a rectangular-shaped box known as the TV. Anything we honor more than God becomes an idol in our lives.
