Look to the Lord
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. —Hebrews 12:2 (ESV)
How do we run our race? By looking away from all that will distract us and focusing our eyes on Jesus. Wherever you go and whatever you do today, remember to keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus. Our help comes from Him. He will renew your strength and guide you along right paths, bringing honor to His name. (See Psalm 23:3 NLT) You may have to go through some valleys and climb over a mountain or two, but He is faithful to bring you through to the other side. He guides us with His counsel, and is leading us to a glorious destiny. (See Psalm 73:24 NLT) For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will guide us until we die. (Psalm 48:14 NLT) We just need to heed and follow His lead.
The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. —Psalm 32:8 (NLT)
