Now is the Time
Worship is not about a specific place and time. Now is the time for true worshipers to worship the God Most High, every moment of the day, with all of our hearts, with our actions and with the words we speak. It involves our total being, acknowledging the goodness and greatness of our awesome God and Creator. True worship means we approach the throne of God in humility and with reverence, and we are transparent, completely honest in confessing our sins with a genuinely repentant heart. If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]. (1 John 1:9 AMP) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1 NLT) Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalm 95:6 NKJV)
“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.” —John 4:23 (MSG)
