What's on Your Mind?
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. —Psalm 8:3-4 (NLT)
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O LORD, You know it all. (Psalm 139:1-4 NASB1995) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalm 149:17-18 NLT)
YAHWEH knows us. Nothing we do or say is a surprise to Him. The Word says, He is intimately acquainted with all our ways. What thoughts fill your mind? May we fill our minds with thoughts of Him, so we can get to know more about Him and experience a deep, personal relationship with Him.
