Greater Love

Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. —John 15:13-14 (NASB1995)

Yeshua is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him… (see Isaiah 53:5). Proverbs 17:17 (NASB1995) says: A friend loves at all times. Our Savior and Redeemer is that friend and our example. 

We are His friends, IF we do what He commands us to do. We have to abide in Him and His word must abide in us. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4:4 NKJV) Yahweh has set before us life and good, death and evil. We must choose for ourselves this day whom we will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.( See Joshua 24:15 and Deuteronomy 30:15) Amen.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you. He Came to Save
