Why are You Troubled?

And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?”Luke 24:38 (NASB1995)

When Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them told the apostles about the empty tomb, their words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them. (See Luke 24:10-11 NASB1995) Later, Jesus said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” (Luke 24:25-26 NASB1995)

Do not let your hearts be troubled. In these end times, we too will suffer some things, but we have a risen Savior. He has overcome this world and gained the victory for us. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT) Have no doubts. Jesus is alive! And at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (See Philippians 2:10-11)
