Don't Give Up

“Brothers and sisters, you need to know about the severe trials we experienced… All of the hardships we passed through crushed us beyond our ability to endure, and we were so completely overwhelmed that we were about to give up entirely. It felt like we had a death sentence written upon our hearts, and we still feel it to this day. It has taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in the God who raises the dead.” —2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (TPT)

When you are burdened excessively and overwhelmed, do not give up. When you come to the end of what you can do, give it to God. Place all of your trust in Yahweh, who is able to bring the dead back to life. Our sufficiency is from God. (See 2 Corinthians 3:5 NKJV) We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not completely crushed by them. We may be perplexed at times, but we do not have to give in to despair. We know that God knows what to do. We may be hunted down, but we are never abandoned by God. We may get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (See 2 Corinthians 4:8-9) 

Yahweh delivered you in the past. He does deliver you in the present. Trust that He will still deliver you in the future. (See 2 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV) Amen.
