He Sent His Son
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. —1 John 4:10 (NKJV)
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14 NKJV) For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:17 AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a) However, 1 John 3:8 (NKJV) says: The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. Yeshua came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10b AMP) For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. (1 John 5:4 AMP) He is our only hope. (See John 6:68 AMP)
