Consider Christ

Consider the life of the One who endured such personal attacks and hostility from sinners so that you will not grow weary or lose heart. Hebrews 12:3 (VOICE)

Think about Yeshua. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. (1 Peter 2:21-24 NLT)

In this world we will have many troubles, trials and sufferings. There will be many battles to fight, but remember we have already won the war. Yeshua has triumphed over this corrupt world order. (See John 16:33 VOICE) In Him, we are more than conquerors and we too overcome. “...brethren, do not grow weary of doing good.” (2 Thessalonians 3:13 NASB1995)

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures. —Hebrews 12:3 (TPT)
