No Complaining.
Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. —Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT)
Instead of winning, complaining and grumbling, believers are to praise and give thanks to God at all times. Complaining dims the light in us and takes us down a dark path of looking at what is wrong, missing or lacking. Rather, keep your eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT). Complaining is an indication that we do not have the right perspective of a situation. Remember, if you are in Christ, you are above your circumstances, not beneath them. When things seem to be going awry, trust YAHWEH. If we love God and are called according to His purpose, we can be confident that He will work everything together for good. (See Romans 8:28) If you are called according to His purpose, know that He’s got you. Nothing that happens in your life today is going to take Him by surprise. He has already made a way for you.
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. —Psalm 34:1 (NASB1995)
