He Embraces Us

So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” —Luke 15:20 (NLT)

In Luke 11-32, Jesus tells a parable about a prodigal son who journeyed to a distant land and wasted all his money in wild living. After his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. In Luke 15:17-18, the son finally came to his senses and decided to go home to his father. His father, like our Abba Father is filled with love and compassion. If you have strayed away, return home to Abba Father. His arms are open wide to receive you.

The everlasting arms of Yahweh will envelope you in a warm embrace. Let His amazing love seep into every pore of your being. You will receive more of Him, because God is love (See 1 John 4:8). His perfect love casts out all fear. (See 1 John 4:18) His marvelous light illuminates dark corners and crevices. Be filled with His love and light. In a sweet exchange, He replaces worry and anxiety, with peace and serenity. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow]. (Psalm 147:3 AMP) In His Presence, there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore (See Psalm 16:11)

Continue to receive from His fountain of life, and He will fill your cup to overflowing. He will empower you to face the day, to give grace and mercy to others. He will equip you to walk in love, patience and peace with everyone He brings your way. May all we do and say today bring glory to the Kingdom of God.
