Come Back

Image
Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles. — Zechariah 9:12 (NLT) If you have strayed away from ABBA Father come back home. Take refuge in Him. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV) I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalms 18:1-2 NLT)  But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love. (Psalms 59:16-17 NLT)

Remember Our Maker

Image
The rich and the poor have this in common, the LORD is the maker of them all. — Proverbs 22:2 (NKJV) “I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass? And you forget the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth…” (See Isaiah 51:12-13 NKJV) May we never forget our Maker. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalms 95:6 NKJV) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalms 100:4) Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. (Psalms 103:1AMP) All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Yahweh, and all the families of the nations will worship before You. For the kingdom is Yahweh’s and He rules over the nations. — Psalms 22:27-28 (LSB)

By His Spirit

Image
Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” — Zechariah 4:6 (NLT) This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5 NLT) Put no confidence in human strength, instead, be led by the Holy Spirit of GOD, Who dwells within you. Rely on Him to do all that He has called you to do. …if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” (See Romans 8:13-15 NLT) “O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! ” — Jeremiah 32:17 ...

Seek His Will

Image
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. (Psalms 25:8-9 NLT) He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. (Psalms 23:3 NLT) Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. (Psalms 25:4-5 NLT) May our steps stay on His path; Let us not waver from following Yahweh. (See Psalms 17:5)

“Yet I will Rejoice”

Image
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) No matter what the doctor’s report says, or what the balance is on the bank statement, continue to rejoice in Yahweh. He is our Healer, our Redeemer and our Provider. No matter how dismal the current circumstances may be, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. I trust in His unfailing love. I will rejoice because He has rescued me. (See Psalms 13:5 NLT) Finally, my fellow believers, continue to rejoice and delight in the LORD. To write the same things again is no trouble for me, and it is a safeguard for you. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 3:1 & 4:4 AMP)

Never Waver

Image
“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” — Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) “Look at the proud one, his soul is not right within him, but the righteous will live by his faith [in the true God].” (Habakkuk 2:4 AMP) May we never waver in believing in the One and only true and living GOD. And let us be fully convinced that Yahweh is able and faithful to fulfill every promise He has made. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:35-39 NKJV) L...

Rise Again!

Image
“As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” — Micah 7:7-8 (NLT) “Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.” (Psalms 146:3 NLT) Look to Yahweh for help. “…joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God.” (Psalms 146:5 NLT) For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of disaster and collapse. (Proverbs 24:16 AMP) The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. (Nahum 1:7 NLT) “The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.” (Nahum 1:3 NLT) “What then shall we say to t...

The Source of Peace

Image
“And he will stand to lead his flock with the LORD’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world. And he will be the source of peace...” — Micah 5:4-5 (NLT) For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (See Isaiah 9:6 NKJV) King Yeshua is the Prince of Peace. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) May His perfect peace rule in your heart and in your mind.

Live to Please GOD

Image
Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. — 1 Thessalonians 4:1 (NLT) For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. (1 Thessalonians 2:4 NLT) Realize that it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. (See Philippians 2:13 AMP) With God all things are possible. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God. (See 1 Peter 5:6) For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please G...

No Escape

Image
“But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the LORD by sailing to Tarshish.” — Jonah 1:3 (NLT) We can run but we can never hide from Yahweh. Psalms 139:7 (NLT) says: “I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!” In addition: You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Jonah planned to go to Tarshish, but instead God orchestrated a series of events and Jonah 3:3 says: “This time Jonah obeyed the LORD’s command and went to Nineveh…” We can be obedient and take the direct route, or we can go around the mountain forty times until our hearts are right and then fulfill the plans the LORD has for us. When all is said and done, know that His plans are good. Yahweh is a merciful and compassionate God, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love....

Fix Your Gaze

Image
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. — 1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT) No matter what the current set of circumstances may be, we can continue to rejoice. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT) And remember, our Heavenly Father is faithful to deliver the rig...

The Valley of Decision

Image
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. — Joel 3:14 (NKJV)  Deuteronomy 30:19-20 says: “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;  that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…” Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:11-12 NKJV)

Examine Your Heart

Image
People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart.  — Proverbs 21:2 (NLT) “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT) We may be able to fool people, but we can never fool our Heavenly Father. “The LORD’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.” (Proverbs 20:27) He examines our hearts and knows everything about us. (See Psalms 139:1) How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. (Psalms 19:12) Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. (Psalms 51:10) And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkle...

The Word on Work

Image
“Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty!” — Proverbs 14:23 (NLT) “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” (Proverbs 13:4 NLT) “Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.” (Proverbs 13:11 NLT) Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10 NLT) “Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.” (1 Thessalonians 4:11 NLT) “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (Colossians 3:23 NLT) “So I saw that there is nothing better for people than to be happy in their work. That is our lot in life… (See Ecclesiastes 3:22 NLT)

Always Depend on GOD

Image
“I have been the LORD your God ever since I brought you out of Egypt. You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.” — Hosea 13:4 (NLT) Just as Yahweh delivered the Israelites out of the land of their affliction, He is the God Who brought you out of the troubles and trials you have experienced. the LORD God of Heaven’s Armies, the LORD is his name! So now, come back to your God. Act with love and justice, and always depend on him. (Hosea 12:5-6) Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. (Lamentations 3:25 NLT) “Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the LORD are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.” — Hosea 14:9 (NLT)

Press On

Image
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” — Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a AMP) In Hosea 4:6 (NLT), the LORD said, His people are being destroyed because they don’t know Him. “So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] LORD [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, and He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 AMP) “I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’” — Hosea 10:12 (N...

God of Restoration

Image
Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. — Psalms 90:14-15 (NLT) Yahweh is a God of restoration. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psalms 23:3 AMP) He will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And His people shall never be put to shame. (See Joel 2:25-26 NKJV) In Hosea 2:15, the LORD says He will transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. He will turn our mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away our clothes of mourning and clothe us with joy, that we might sing praises to Him and not be silent. O LORD our God, we will give you thanks forever! ...

Love & Serve The LORD

Image
Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” — Mark 12:29-31 (NLT) Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. (1 John 2:15-17 NLT) Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve. (See Joshua 24:15)

Wisdom Calls

Image
Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square. She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate: — Proverbs 1:20-21 (NLT) Let us open our ears and hear the call of wisdom. She says: “Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise. I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention. You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.” (Proverbs 1:23-25) Those who reject her advice and pay no attention to correction must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way, choking on their own schemes. But all who listen to wisdom will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm. (See Proverbs 1:30-31, 33 NLT)

Our Banner

Image
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. — Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV) In Exodus 17:15 (NLT), Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). His banner over us is one of love and victory. God gives us victory over the world, our flesh and the devil. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], a banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalms 60:4 AMP)  His banner over us is a banner of deliverance and salvation. In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:10 NLT)

His Home

Image
“I will make my home among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” — Ezekiel 37:27 (NLT) Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV) The dwelling place of Yahweh is with us, believers in King Yeshua. Open the door of your heart to receive Him today. Willingly give Him access to your whole heart. In Hebrews 13:5, He says, He will never leave us or forsake us. In Isaiah 43:1-2 (NLT) He says: “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” — 2 Co...
