Keep the Faith!

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. —James 1:2-4 (MSG)

Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4 NIV). How do we become overcomers, if we never have any obstacles to come over? How do we consider it pure joy (James 1:2 NIV), when we encounter various trials? Because we know Jesus has already given us the victory! Hallelujah! So let us persevere and continue to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). And be of good cheer because Jesus, has overcome the world (John 16:33).
