Rooted & Grounded

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. —Ephesians 3:16-18 (NLT)

Could it be that difficulty in trusting God comes from a heart and mind that does not believe or understand the magnitude of God’s unconditional love for us? Please know that there is nothing you could do or say that would stop the extravagant love our heavenly Father so freely and generously pours out on us. His love for you is limitless. May you be deeply rooted and securely grounded in God’s great love at all times and in every situation. In His love, we are empowered and strengthened to triumph over troubles.
