Be Fully Convinced

Image
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. — Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; (Hebrews 10:23 AMP) Do not doubt or waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6 NLT) Be fully convinced that Yahweh is able to do whatever He says. He watches over His Word to perform it. In Isaiah 55:11(NKJV), the LORD says: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” May your faith continually grow stronger and stronger.

No Favoritism

Image
“There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.” — Romans 2:9-11 (NLT) Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? (Romans 2:4 NLT) Yahweh loves you with an everlasting love. Therefore He has drawn you with lovingkindness. (See Jeremiah 31:3) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in ...

Trust in the LORD

Image
Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalms 20:7 AMP) He knows the plans He has for us and they are good. In Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP), He says: “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Proverbs 28:6 says: He who trusts in his own heart is a fool. Be wise and trust in Yahweh. Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. (See Proverbs 3:7 NASB1995) ...I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands... (See Psalms 31:14-15 NLT).

Give Thanks

Image
“Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted.” — John 6:11 (NLT) Instead of looking at our material possessions, may we look to Yahweh, the source of everything that we need. Let us be thankful for all that Yahweh has provided and trust Him to always provide for us. “But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.” (John 6:27 NLT)

He Rescues

Image
“God rescued me from the grave, and now my life is filled with light.’ “Yes, God does these things again and again for people. He rescues them from the grave so they may enjoy the light of life.” — Job 33:28-30 (NLT) My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies. (Psalms 25:15 NLT) When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. (Psalms 34:17 AMP) Yahweh is faithful to rescue us again and again. Let us proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! (See 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV) He called us out of bondage and into a life full of His gracious blessings. Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Interlude. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. — Psalms 68:19-20 (NLT)

Seek & Find

Image
...and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as  even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ — Acts 17:26-28 (NASB1995) “Therefore God overlooked and disregarded the former ages of ignorance; but now He commands all people everywhere to repent [that is, to change their old way of thinking, to regret their past sins, and to seek God’s purpose for their lives],” (Acts 17:30 AMP) Repent of your sins and turn to Him. “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD...” (See Jeremiah 29:13-14)

The Greatest

Image
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV) Now there remains, faith, an abiding trust in God and His promises. We have hope, the confident expectation of eternal salvation, and love, an unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for us. But of these three, the Holy Scriptures say, the greatest of these is love. (See 1 Corinthians 13:13 AMP) Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; (1 Corinthians 13:4-6 NASB1995) Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].  (1 Corinthians 13:7 AMP) In John 13:35, Yeshua said to His dis...

Good Seed vs. Weeds

Image
Jesus replied, “The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed. The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one. The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.” — Matthew 13:37-39 (NLT) In Luke 11:23 (AMP), Yeshua said: “He who is not with Me [believing in Me as Lord and Savior] is against Me [there is no impartial position]; and he who does not gather with Me [assisting in My ministry], scatters.” Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. (See Joshua 24:15) “The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and unders...

Listen & Obey

Image
Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. — 1 Kings 19:11-12 (NKJV) Elijah was going through stormy times, fleeing for his life, from Jezebel. And he positioned himself to hear God's voice. When an Angel of the Lord appears to Moses, in the wilderness, he drew near to observe, and the voice of the Lord came to him, (See Acts 7:30-31 NKJV). May we position ourselves to hear the voice of the LORD by drawing near to Him. Draw near in thanksgiving, prayer, praise, worship and by reading the Holy Scriptures. Give ear and hear His voice. Listen and obey. The LORD of hosts is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. ...

Cast ALL Your Cares

Image
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. — 1 Peter 5:6-7 (AMP) In order for the peace of God to rule in our heads and our hearts we must humble ourselves and acknowledge that we are under the mighty hand of God. He has the whole world in His hand and nothing is too difficult for Him. His purpose will prevail. (See Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Cast all your cares, worries and concerns on Him and trust Almighty God, that His plans are good and His timing is always perfect.

Keep Looking

Image
I lift my eyes to you, O God, enthroned in heaven. We keep looking to the  LORD our God for his mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal. — Psalms 123:1-2 (NLT) Keep looking to Elohim, our Creator. He created the universe and all that it contains. He is Adonai, the Owner of our lives. Keep looking to El Olam, the eternal, Everlasting God. He is El Shaddai, the all-powerful, all-sufficient source of all our blessings. He gives gifts and equips. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Keep looking to El Roi, the “God Who Sees me.” He sees each one of us, and He is with us and will never leave us, nor forsake us. He is Almighty God and there is no other. Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. (Psalms 96:8-9 NKJV)

Where Is Your Storehouse?

Image
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” — Matthew 6:19-21 (NLT) Evil people may have piles of money and may store away mounds of clothing, but what hope do the godless have when God cuts them off and takes away their life? (See Job 27:16 & 27:8 NLT) Continually striving to gain satisfaction or security by acquiring material possessions leads to stress and anxiety. Seek the Kingdom of God (on a daily basis), above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (See Matthew 6:33 NLT)  “ He who leans on and trusts in and is confident in his riches will fall, but the righteous [who trust in God’s provision] will flourish like a green leaf. ” — Proverbs 11:28 (AMP)

The Path of Life

Image
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. — Psalms 16:11 (NKJV) Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. (Psalms 25:4-5 NLT) Yahweh shows us His ways, let us be faithful to follow and stay on the path He sets before us. He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance. (See Psalms 65:11 NKJV) In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. — Proverbs 12:28 (NKJV)

“My Help Comes from The LORD!”

Image
I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! — Psalms 121:1-2 (NLT) “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be dismayed… With him (our enemy) is only an arm of flesh, but with us is Yahweh our God to help us and to fight our battles.” (See 2 Chronicles 32:7-8 LSB)  “For I am Yahweh your God, who strongly takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’” (Isaiah 41:13 LSB) We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. (Psalms 33:20 NLT) Yahweh is for me among those who help me; Therefore I will look in triumph on those who hate me. (Psalms 118:7 LSB) If Yahweh had not been my help, my soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God, (Psalms 94:17 & 146:5 LSB). The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalms 29:11 NLT) The LORD will guard your going ou...

Run to Win!

Image
Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. — 1 Corinthians 9:24-26 (NLT) Let us run to win, by laying aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV) Press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (See Philippians 3:14 NLT)

Be Filled

Image
King David said this about him: ‘I see that the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’ — Acts 2:25-28 (NLT)  In Acts 13:52 (NLT), the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. As disciples of Yeshua the Christ, may we be filled with joy and with the Holy Sprit. The LORD will show you the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11 NKJV) In Isaiah 43:2 (NLT), the LORD says: “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LOR...

Believe & Recognize

Image
For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. — 1 John 5:4-5 (AMP) I encourage you to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7) Remember that the battle belongs to the LORD and the war has already been won. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NKJV) …we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP)

His Will be Done

Image
He walked away, about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” — Luke 22:41-42 (NLT) We all would like to avoid any cup of suffering, but may we also primarily desire for God’s will to be done, in every situation and circumstance. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT) “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11 (LSB)

Hang on Every Word

Image
After that, he taught daily in the Temple, but the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders of the people began planning how to kill him. But they could think of nothing, because all the people hung on every word he said. — Luke 19:47-48 (NLT) In Matthew 22:36-40 (NLT), Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ In Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV), Jesus said: “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” In Luke 11:28 (NKJV) He said, “...blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.  — Psalms 119:73 (NLT)

“Come Back!”

Image
In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away! — Luke 15:7 (NLT) In Luke 15:11-24, Yeshua tells a parable about a younger son who demanded his share of the father's estate. He then moved to a distant land, and wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. He got a job feeding pigs, and was so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything. (Note: the world will leave you dry and empty). When he finally came to his senses, he decided to return home to his father to be a hired servant. So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. He then proceeded to clothe him and celebrate. No matter how far...

Be Humble

Image
“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled [before others], and he who habitually humbles himself (keeps a realistic self-view) will be exalted.” — Luke 14:11 (AMP) “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (See James 4:6 NKJV) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. (1 Peter 5:6-7 AMP) Speak evil of no one, be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. (See Titus 3:2 NKJV)
