Hold onto Hope
Always hold onto hope. The woman who had been suffering with an issue of blood for twelve years, could have given up, but instead she pressed through the crowd, touched the fringe of Jesus’ cloak and received her healing. (Matthew 9:20-22) The man who had an infirmity thirty-eight years, continued to lay by the pool of Bethesda waiting for the moving of the water, day after day. (John 5:2-3) He held onto hope and was in the right place at the right time. One encounter with Jesus and immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. (John 5:5-9)
So then, my soul, why would you be depressed? Why would you sink into despair? Just keep hoping and waiting on God, your Savior. For no matter what, I will still sing with praise, for living before his face is my saving grace!
