A Time For Everything

Image
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— A time to give birth and a time to die;
 A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh;
 A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
 A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate;
 A time for war and a time for peace. — Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NASB1995) It takes wisdom to know the appropriate time to engage in each activity, here on earth. For example it is very important to know when to talk and when it’s better to be silent. Let us ask Yahweh for wisdom and discernment to do the right thing at the right time. However...

His Great Love

Image
...God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  — Ephesians 2:4-5 (NASB1995) See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God! (See 1 John 3:1 NASB1995) …may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love];  (See Ephesians 3:17-18 AMP)  “Live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. Be convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could eve...

Greater Joy

Image
You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine. — Psalms 4:7 (NLT) Any joy that is based upon material possessions or external circumstances will be temporary, and will constantly fluctuate. But when our joy is seated in Elohim, our Creator, we will experience a deep and continual joy at all times, a joy that will not be disturbed. James 1:2 (NASB1995) says: Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials… Second Corinthians 4:17 reminds us that our affliction is light and momentary. When suffering affliction on every side, and going through conflicts and fears, the Apostle Paul continued to experience great joy. In 2 Corinthians 7:4 (NASB1995), he said: “I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.” Hebrews 12:2 says, Yeshua endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him. Therefore, I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; my soul will rejoice in my God, for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped...

He Freely Gives

Image
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” — James (Jacob) 1:17 (TPT) May we set our hope on God, who richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (See 1 Timothy 6:17 AMP) By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. (2 Peter 1:3 NLT) In Genesis 2:16-17, the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat…” Even though they had access to every other tree in the garden of Eden, the serpent got Eve to focus on the one tree that was prohibited. (See Genesis 3:1-6) The enemy likes to get us focused on the one thing we lack. May we always have a t...

Come & Drink

Image
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. — John 7:37-39 (NASB1995) Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters and drink! Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? (See Isaiah 55:1-2) And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17 NKJV) Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him. (Ephesians 5:18 AMP) O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who turn away from you will be di...

God is Light

Image
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. — 1 John 1:5 (NASB1995) God is light and we were created in His image, according to His likeness. (See Genesis 1:26) “If we claim that we share life with him, but keep walking in the realm of darkness, we’re fooling ourselves and not living the truth. But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7 TPT) God called us out of the domain of darkness and into His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8 NKJV) The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. — Romans 13:12 (AMP)

He Guides

Image
Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty, he himself will be there with you. He will not hide himself from you, for your eyes will constantly see him as your Teacher. When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear his voice behind you to guide you, saying, “This is the right path; follow it.” — Isaiah 30:20-21 (TPT) In all of our trials and tribulations, Yahweh is always with us, and He shows us the right path to take. Listen to His voice above all others. He will guide you in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (See Psalms 23:3) “Yes, this is our God, our great God forever. He will lead us onward until the end, through all time, beyond death, and into eternity!” (Psalms 48:14 TPT) Just as we listen to the GPS in our vehicles to get us where we want to go, we need to listen to the voice of our heavenly Father to get to our desired destination in life. And just as the GPS re-routes us when we miss a turn, so our heav...

Don't Grow Weary

Image
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. — Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. (Galatians 6:7-8 NLT) May we continually plant the seeds of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control and that is the fruit we shall bear. And as for [the rest of] you, believers, do not grow tired or lose heart in doing good [but continue doing what is right without weakening]. — 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (AMP)

Live by The Spirit

Image
                                                                                                                              So then, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]— for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. — Romans 8:12-13 (AMP) If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit...

Praise Him Again!

Image
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! — Psalms 42:5-6a (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) Through Yeshua then, let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks to His name. (See Hebrews 13:15 TLV) For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. (Psalms 96:4 NASB1995) Praise Yah! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse. Praise Him for His mighty deeds; Praise Him according to the abundance of His greatness. Let everything that has breath praise Yah. Praise Yah! (Psalms 150:1-2, 6 LSB) I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalms 34:1 LSB) I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. (Psalms 86:12 NKJV) I will...

Seek Wisdom from Above

Image
If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. — James 1:5 (AMP) But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. (James 3:14-16 NASB1995) Let us seek wisdom from above, for the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. (See 1 Corinthians 3:19) …the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (James 3:17 NKJV) How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding. — Proverbs 3:13 (NASB1995)

Ambassadors for Christ

Image
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. — 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NASB1995) …we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP) May we be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom we appear as lights in the world, (See Philippians 2:15 NASB1995). And as Christ’s representatives here on earth, let us implore others to be reconciled to God through Christ. I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; my soul will rejoice in my God, for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of ...

All Glory to God

Image
“On an appointed day Herod, having put on his royal apparel, took his seat on the rostrum and began delivering an address to them. The people kept crying out, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.” — Acts 12:21-23 (NASB1995) Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18) The Lord struck Herod down because he did not give God the glory and instead permitted himself to be worshiped. (See Acts 12:23 AMP) “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (See James 4:6 NASB1995) Let us clothe ourselves with humility, and always give God the glory. He is so worthy to receive all praise, honor and glory. In His hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. (See Job 12:10) In Him we live and move and have our being. (See Acts 17:28) Yahweh has generously given us all of the gifts, talents and resources ...

Joy & Peace

Image
“Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” — Romans 15:13 (TPT) Whatever set of circumstances you face today, trust that God is able to handle it and be filled with joy and peace. Listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people… (See Psalms 85:8 NLT) “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! (Habakkuk 3:18 AMP) Choose joy and peace.

He Delivers

Image
“And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” — Acts 7:9-10 (NKJV) Those close to us may do us wrong, but Yahweh is always with us and He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NLT) says: The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. In Genesis 50:20, Joseph told his brothers: “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” What harm Yahweh allows others to do in your life, He is able to turn around for good. The land of your suffering can become the place of abundant blessings.

Call on His Name Today

Image
“let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua ha-Mashiach ha-Natzrati (of Nazareth) —whom you had crucified, whom God raised from the dead—this one stands before you whole. This Yeshua is ‘the stone—rejected by you, the builders—that has become the chief cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved!” — Acts 4:10-12 (TLV) Before you call upon the pastor, preacher, priest, or president, make sure you call upon and trust in the name of Yeshua, our Savior.  “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Acts 2:21 NKJV) Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” (Acts 10:43 NASB1995) “And now you must repent and turn back to God so that your sins will be removed, and so that times of refreshing will stream from the Lord’s presence.” (Act...

Why are you troubled?

Image
“And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?” — Luke 24:38 (NKJV) Why are you troubled? In John 14:27 (TPT) Yeshua said: “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NASB1995) Have no doubt. ...despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NLT)

Rely Only On God

Image
We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) No matter what troubles and trials come our way, may we learn to rely only on Elohim, the all-powerful One, Creator of the universe. He has the power to bring the dead back to life. He rescued us from so great a threat of death, and will continue to rescue us. On Him we have set our hope. And He will again rescue us [from danger and draw us near], (2 Corinthians 1:10 AMP)

Long for the LORD

Image
Glory in His holy name;  Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:3-4 (AMP) Let not a day go by that you do not long for more of Yahweh, in your heart, in your mind and in your life. Like John the Baptist said in John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” May we consistently inquire of Him and His will for us, and draw our strength from Him, for with Yahweh all things are possible.“...those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

He is Able

Image
Now to the One who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Yeshua the Messiah our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, both now and forever. Amen. — Jude 24-25 (TLV) I am sure of this very thing—that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the Day of Messiah Yeshua. (Philippians 1:6 TLV) Therefore let the one who thinks that he stands watch out that he doesn’t fall. No temptation has taken hold of you except what is common to mankind. But God is faithful—He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. But with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape, so you will be able to endure it. Therefore, my dearly loved ones, flee from idolatry. (1 Corinthians 10:12-14 TLV) ...submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 AMP)

Worship The LORD

Image
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. — Psalms 29:2 (AMP) Yahweh is our Creator and the source of all we need. …in Him we live and move and have our being. (See Acts 17:28 NKJV) He Himself gives to all of people life and breath and all things; (See Acts 17:28 NASB1995) Release the frustrations, disappointments and cares of this world and receive all that our heavenly Father has for us, —redemption, salvation, righteousness, healing, lovingkindness, compassion, and everlasting joy, etc. Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 LSB) Amen. Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. — Psalms 95:6 (NASB1995)

Learn The Secret

Image
I know how to get along and live humbly [in difficult times], and I also know how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret [of facing life], whether well-fed or going hungry, whether having an abundance or being in need. — Philippians 4:12 (AMP) Like the Apostle Paul, may we learn the secret of not just surviving but thriving in whatever kind of situation or circumstance that comes our way. In Philippians 4:4, he also instructs us to rejoice in the Lord always. So, no matter what set of circumstances you face today, don’t let the enemy steal your joy. Let us put more time and energy into trusting God and drawing near to Him than we do in trying to control our circumstances or manipulate people. The closer we are to Him the more likely we will see the situation from His perspective, a higher viewpoint.  Learn to be content and wait with expectation for God to lead you and guide you in the best course of action. And be confid...

Be A Partaker

Image
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue. Through these things He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, since you have escaped the corruption that evil desires have brought into the world. — 2 Peter 1:3-4 (TLV) We can all be partakers of the wonderful grace of God (See Philippians 1:7), and share in His precious promises. God our Savior desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (See 1 Timothy 2:3-4) As holy brethren, we are partakers of a heavenly calling. (See Hebrews 3:1) Our generous and good God has given us everything we need to escape the corruption of worldly desires and share in the divine nature. Yeshua came that we have life, and have it more abundantly, here on earth and in the age to come, eternal life. (See John 10:10 & Mark 10:29-30) Let us encourage one a...

Call & Come

Image
Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:12-13 (AMP) What or whom do you seek first? Is it the latest news on your favorite social media platform? Or is it the living God, Who created you and continually lavishes His unfailing love upon you? When you receive bad news do you phone a friend or do you call upon Yahweh first? In my distress I called upon Yahweh, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. (Psalms 18:6 LSB) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalms 145:18 NASB1995) Seek Him with your whole heart, as a vital necessity. Call upon His name and come into His Presence. Draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that you ...

Consider Him

Image
Just consider and meditate on Him who endured from sinners such bitter hostility against Himself [consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. — Hebrews 11:3 (AMP) Consider: think carefully about our Savior. Look attentively unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 11:2 NKJV) When we consider all He did for us, our trials pale in comparison. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5 NASB1995) Like those in the church of Ephesus, persevere, have patience, and labor for His name’s sake and do not become wea...

We Overcome

Image
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NKJV) Surely, we will experience trouble and sorrows in  this world. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (Romans 8:37 AMP) Let us be courageous and confident because we too shall overcome. Praise Yahweh that we have the victory in Yeshua! You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (NASB1995)

He Saves

Image
“She will give birth to a son; and you shall call His name Yeshua, for He will save His people from their sins.” — Matthew 1:21 (TLV) No matter where we are in life, Yeshua is all we need. Apart from Him we can do nothing. (See John 15:5) He is the answer to every problem. Call His name “Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:23) And in Matthew 28:20, He promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age.” He is our Rock and our Redeemer. He is the great Physician, our Healer. He is the good Shepherd Who leads us along on the path that leads to life. He is the way, the truth and the life (See John 14:6) May you get to know Him intimately, and be known by Him.

It is Good

Image
But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalms 73:28 (AMP) Let us continually draw near to God with a genuine heart. The closer you are to Him the more likely you are to hear His still small voice telling you the way in which you should go. He softly speaks to you about His unfailing love, grace and mercy. Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22 NASB1995) It is for our good to draw near to God and when we do, He is faithful to draw near to us. (See James 4:8) “But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord YAHWEH, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT)

Our Shepherd

Image
The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. — Psalms 23:1-3 (AMP) Learn to rest in the Presence of the LORD. He will refresh and restore your soul. He will make known to you the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; In His right hand there are pleasures forever. (See Psalms 16:11) In John 10:11,14, Yeshua says: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.” He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. (See John 10:3-4) Today, He is calling your name. Do you hear His voice? Follow Him.

Shine Bright

Image
Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness], — Philippians 2:14-15 (AMP) “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2 NASB1995) No matter what you are going through let His light within you continue to shine. No grumbling or complaining.
